Re: Yelina Salas

Exactly, Luce. I'm all for H and Marisol right now--that is, until Yelina returns. Maybe she'll take some of the stiffness out of him that we've seen this season.

Re: Yelina Salas

That's what I'm hoping for too. Maybe H will start learning to live more for the present than the past. :)

Re: Yelina Salas

 perhaps she wore them to wake up the other detectives  by the way did we she her talk to the other detectives, i mean she was friendly with the CSI's but I dont remember her joiking with the homercide crew

Re: Yelina Salas

I would have loved to have seen Yelina work with Frank more. They would have made a great team. Their interaction was subtle, and Frank definitely understood the complexities of the feelings Yelina and Horatio had for each other. The scene outside Yelina's house in 'Pro Per' was a clear example of this. :)

Re: Yelina Salas

I think there's a good chance that she will. We've just got to be patient and hope that Yelina is still part of the writers' plans. The best thing about this scenario (Yelina being in Brazil) is that it's been left open-ended. It's a storyarc that the writers can return to quite conceivably. :)

Re: Yelina Salas

I've just seen "losing Face" and what bothered me was Horatio took Al's wedding ring from the scene and gave it back to his wife, knowing it was evidence - but he felt it was right.

Now in Big Brother Horatio holds up Ray's wedding ring from the evidence box, so we know that he didn't give it back to Yelina... Why?
Why did he give his father figure's ring back to his wife, but not his own brother's ring back to the woman he loves...

Or perhaps it's poor continuity :( I dunno, it was just bothering me.

Re: Yelina Salas

My take on that final Big Brother scene was that it was very much a symbolic moment. H is devastated by Ray's infidelity, and by holding up the ring like that, he is relating what Ray has done to what the wedding ring should represent ie. a neverending union, a lifelong bond of loyalty and love that should not be broken (until death do us part).

It is even more significant when you add the fact that Ray was unfaithful to the woman H loves. I expect H feels he would never have treated her in such a way. :(

Wow, I'm feeling profound this evening!
