RIP :( he was so funny.. sad. 71 so young.. remember how hilarious he was in "Young Frankenstein" with Mel Brook's and Gene Wilder, and Madeline Kahn :lol:

Wow, Peter was a great actor and I loved him playing Frank in Everybody Loves Raymond. Really sad news. :(

Rocky & Bullwinkle Writer Dies

Chris Hayward, an Emmy-winning television writer who helped develop the bumbling animated Canadian Mountie Dudley Do-Right and other offbeat characters for the Rocky and Bullwinkle TV show, has died. He was 81.

Hayward died of cancer Nov. 20 at this Beverly Hills home, his wife, Linda, told the Los Angeles Times in Sunday editions.

In addition to his wife, Hayward is survived by his children, Laurel, Victoria and Tony, from a previous marriage that ended in divorce.

US cartoonist Joseph Barbera dies


Joseph Barbera, one half of the team behind such cartoon classics as The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo and Huckleberry Hound, has died, aged 95.
He died of natural causes at home with his wife, Sheila, at his side.

With William Hanna, Barbera founded Hanna-Barbera in the 1950s, after the pair had earlier worked on the Tom and Jerry cartoons at MGM studios.

Talk about age I know what you mean I remember the cartoons well. RIP To the cartonists. You are forever in the hearts of your fans from child to adult.

OMG There goes my age again. :lol: I still watch Scooby-Doo & The Flintstones. RIP. They will be sorely missed.

RIP Mr. Barbera and Mr. Hayward. Your craft brought joy to many. I'm showing my age, but I grew up with their work. Hanna-Barbera was my fantasy job when I was three. I didn't know what I wanted to do there; I just wanted to work there. :(
