Ed Bradley was a wonderful journalist. In highschool we studied a lot of his work for a quarter. Rest in peace Ed.
Just heard about Jack Palance. He was great in 'City Slickers,' among other films, and was really a great actor. So sad to see him past.

Mick Jagger's Father Dies at 93

LONDON (AP) - The father of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger died of pneumonia Saturday, a spokesman for the singer said. He was 93.
Joe Jagger, a former schoolteacher, was admitted to a hospital in Kingston, Surrey, outside London, more than a week ago after falling in his home, the spokesman said on condition of anonymity.
Mick Jagger, 63, who has been in the United States on the Stones'"A Bigger Bang" tour, traveled to Britain Friday to see his father and flew back to Las Vegas later the same day. He was to perform there Saturday night, the spokesman said, adding that the show would go ahead as scheduled.
The spokesman said the Jagger family would not make any further comment. He gave no details of Joe Jagger's funeral, saying only that it would be private.
Mick Jagger's mother, Eva, died in 2000. She and Joe Jagger had two children, Mick and Chris.

That's very sad. I heard in the news a few days ago that his father was quite ill. Rest in peace Joe Jagger.

Belinda Emmett, an Australian actress, died on Saturday aged 32 of secondary bone cancer. Her husband Rove McManus and her family were at her side.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 24, and was in remission for two years before being diagnosed with secondary bone cancer.
RIP Belinda.

OMG I had no idea.. it hasn't even been on the news herepoor Mick.. and it did how a clip of him performing here. and he looked great.. I know he lost his mom Eva a few years ago.. and Mick and his brother Chris adored him.. he loved all his grandkids. many mostly from Mick..I've got pictures of him with all the kids.. I'm a hugh Rolling Stones fan.. I can't beleive this is how I found out this sad news.. but thank's for posting it.... 93 long life. at least he got to see him before hed died.. RIP Joe.. a great man..

I just recently saw "Prairie Home Companion" hilarious.. :lol: a dark comedy.. and laughed for two solid hrs.. he was another great director..so many credits to his name RIP
