There some questions to be answered first 1) how old is Roscoe 2) how long have you had him 3) what does he do when you leave him If he barks when you leave him, you could try some of the anti barking collars that are available. There are also muzzles you could use. There are also ultra sonic anti barking devices available if you don't want a collar or muzzle. If he is destructive when you leave him you could try crating him. If he's never been crated before you will probably need to do this slowly. If he's not being destructive you could try leaving the room he's in for short periods of time to begin with and don't pay attention to him if he starts to fuss. You have to show him who the boss is and if you let him know you are still around he's winning the battle. Once he gets use to the short periods of being left alone start making them longer periods. He should eventually realize that you are coming back. One thing to remember is when you come back into the room don't pay attention to him first off. Again he has to learn who the bosses in the house are. I hope this helps If you want some more info you could pm me or some one has started a social group here for people that work in pet stores. You may want to try one of them.
