Awwwww! :D That picture is so adorable.

stokesgirl, that is so true about cats! If you could see my two cats you would realise that they definitely believe that I live to serve them, and they love it...

i just wanted to post a pic, of my beloved dog Shenka, who at the age of 12, sadly lost the battle against his diabetes, and swelling of the brain, and went to the doggy heaven in the sky on Febuary 15th, and still miss him terribly :(

every year we get him a rawhide christmas card, and he carries it around, then eats it when the christmas decorations start going away. And yes, he is a big retriever...i have never seen one as big as ben is.

We have a small, white dog. A malthese. His name is Bengel and he is about 13 years old.
Last night we had to bring him to the vet. He wasn't doing to well off and on for about 2 weeks and we thought he had the dog flu, is has been going around here. He is diabetic, so when he isn't feeling to well now, it hits him a bit harder that before he became diabetic. At the vet it turned out his sugar was way to high and he wanted to keep him for a couple of days to get it under control again. We called this morning and he is doing ok. Sugar is still to high, but he is eating and drinking, so that's a good sign. It was just so weird this morning waking up and he not being there. I hope he get's to come home soon...:(

thanks for the kind thoughts hormiga,
My thoughts are with you 4blueeyez, and hope your dog has a speedy recovery, my dog to was diabetic, and he coped really well with it once the vet had stabilised his insulin

Thanx for the support. We visited him last night and he was doing better. He wasn't completely stabilised yet, so we couldn't take him home just yet. But it was good to see him...:)
