My birds died this weekend. I really miss them.

I know how you're feeling right now. It sucks to lose a pet, let alone two at a time. One died the nightbefore and the other within hours. Id didn't even know they were sick.

I am so sorry about your birds and your rats!!!

Losing pets is always very hard. We had two dogs before Sophie, and both of them died at very bad times.

Our first doggie, Sammy, died on Christmas morning when I was 5. We were opening presents and he just fell over. Worst Christmas ever, I mean, that put a damper on the whole holiday, and then, to make it worse, we moved house 5 days later.

The second one, Paddy, died the weekend before I started high school. I came home from softball practice and went to get him from the yard, and he was just lying there. He was only 5 years old and in seemingly perfect health. We never found out what happened.

^OH madgeorge..you poor soul..that must have been an awful Christmas. I can't help but think of how that would be for my little girl if that happened.

Thanks for the sympathies. I'm just she wasn't around when it happened. I was pretty upset.

The only consolation is that they were curled up next to each tightly, so they weren't alone when it happened.

I don't plan on getting any more birds for a while. They are so fragile!

I have a hamster. His name is Grissco. It stands for Grissom and Company. Grissom + Company = GRISSCO!! yay

I know what you mean.. my two budgies died shortly after each other a while ago.. and still even though you're supposed to be a grown up and even though a lot of people do not believe you can have a close bond with birds, I cried my eyes out and still miss them occasionally. I decided not to take birds anymore.. but what happened, my housemates got me a canary for my birthday that same year

at home i have a puppy named lizzie! she's a min pin and very cute.

at the dorm i have 4 fish. they're pretty cool.

LMAO I love that name Pikazoom, Inkblot :lol: Well I can see why.. I used to have a similar looking dwarf rabbit, he was called Bob Hey, I didn't come up with the name.. I had a albino rabbit too called Bobbek.
