Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

All bias aside (if that's possible!), I love the name Horatio Caine. I agree that it is very cool!

Glad you liked the pics Leanne. We aim to please! ;)

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

I'm sorry but I always laugh at name "Horatio", especially when saying it in a Finnish way.

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

I love his name, I think it`s suits him very well, I must admit when I first started watching it, his name also made me giggle, but I got used to it now. :D

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

I can't imagine him being anything else but Horatio Caine on the show. What do you guys think his middle name is?

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

 you may be right there ;) it'll be something like his father's name or something like his first name - strange but nice :D

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

Isn't it just Horatio 'The Asskickingness' Caine!! :D

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

I've always wondered what his brother's middle name is. Whenever you see Raymond's full name, there's a 'C' in it. So it reads 'Raymond C Caine'. Just wondered what the 'C' might stand for (because his first name isn't anywhere near as interesting as Horatio's). Does anybody know?

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

Omg. Speaking of his name, I have another one of those "remind-me-of-Horatio" moment. I was doing this Maths question and then the question read: Find the ratio of the height of the cylinder to the cone. And I was like reading it over and over again and I ended up tracing the word "ratio". Then when the teacher said "ratio" i went Ho! and he gave me this "huh?"look. I'm crazy!!

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

^ I had text in English matriculation examination written part (reading) where was word "ratio" and I kept laughing at, it really disturbed my answering  I got strange looks because matriculation examination is usually a very serious moment, when you sit there and you shouldn't make any noise

Perhaps it's Xavier. See....wouldn't it be cool. Horatio X. Caine

(uh actually, DC's character Michael Hayes full name was Michael Francis Xavier Hayes)

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreciation Thread

I remember choking on my drink when I saw Horatio on a page in a TV times - it was a huge picture, my mum knew I was lets say observant of the H man :D

Re: The Horatio Caine Appreachiation Thread

Hiya, newbie here!

If you have a look at the pilot episode (Crossjuristictions from the original CSI) you'll find that in the final scene with the girl he's sitting on the beach wearing a more casual shirt / trousers (sorry, I'm British, mean pants) than he normally does.

I only watched this episode last weekend (a friend bought me the S2 CSI DVD so I could watch it no less) and I howled when I saw that. Horatio never wears anything but suits.

Mind you, watching that after watching S1 & 2 of CSI:M (I'm British, with no cable/ satellite and playing catch-up after I fell in love with H) was quite an eyeopener. Everyone including Speed and H were behaving most out of character (although H was behaving in an extra cute manner) so it was very entertaining!
