Oh, really? Which episode was that? I remember it vaguely but I need to see that one again!

Anyway, somehow I miss their interaction from earlier seasons, too, my_last_chance. They were together in almost every episode and that was really quality time! Sparks were flying. Now it's all a bit less obvious and we really have to watch closely to find the subtext. But it's still there. But I guess you're right with the assumption that they have to be careful now with all the cops around and with them working together. Plus, I think if Nick looked at Greg in that certain way or touched him, Greg wouldn't be able to hold back knowing what comes next ...

Ah, just watched your new signature, candygirl. Made me think of how we were all scared to death about that waitress in For Gedda. Panic all over the Fort and then it turned out to be a really good eye-sex moment. I've only seen clips of that scene but too me the way Nick looked at Greg and Greg had this somewhat shy smile/grin on his face said more than the "look" he supposedly gave the waitress. And Warrick so knew that there was no way Nick was interested in her!!

I remember that there was the same panic going on for Rashomama. Don't know really how it started though since I came to the Fort later but it turned out to be a great Love episode, too.

My point, whatever TPTB want to make us believe by throwing women at Nick (just ridiculous :guffaw:) we always know that there's no way he's into them. It's always Greg for Nick!

Just remembered, candygirl, was it that episode where the girl was raped and the family was too scared to tell the police and after they did tell, she was killed?

Yes love_fan it was indeedy that episode. Its there just have to listen to it, (just before they return to the car, just after the girl gets into Sara's car and frightens her!)

I know that scene in For Gredda is just well the strongest love moment in Season eight. It was just perfect, that made me rather happy!!!!
LOL Rashomama, is soo funny. It can be either a LOVE moment or a Sara "I hate marriages" but its funny how it is directed at them three ships.

Of course when Nick says "love" he is looking at Greg.

I joined this site in 2007, soo that was welll after Rashomama. Hhm, I think I came here early season 7 (uk airing)

^^ So true the look in the diner in For Gedda was worth waiting for. Just so delish. Rashomama is one of my favorite episodes ever. The love moments happen right of the bat. Like candygirl1uk he looks right at Greggo when he syas it. And then Greggo like quickly starts yammering about wedding crashers and such. But from the grin on Sara's face you can tell she knows. So cute.

The episode you guys are talking about is Homebodies. From season four.

NICK: Are you boys ready for softball on Sunday?

OFFICER: Ready to kick your ass, Stokes.

SARA: See you back at the lab.

NICK: All right. You're ready to kiss my what?

OFFICER: You heard me.

^-^ Hm, I don't think I've seen this episode. I guess the reason would be 'cause I don't own season four ... yet. Ah well--I'll watch it eventually.

The sad part about the look in For Gedda is that I completely (100%) missed it. I didn't even know it had happened till afterwards, when people had screen capped it. And I call myself a fangirl? >_> I love the look, though ... after I saw it! Greg totally smiles right at Nick and no one else. And Nicky reciprocates with his own Texan smile ... with the danged tooth pick *grumblemumble* Ah well. Let's hope neither the waitress or the toothpick make a return. Better yet--no waitress, no toothpick and DEFINITELY no pornstache. Good Lord.

Speaking of the 'stache, I saw my first episode with IT in it not too long ago. I think I shrieked out loud by accident. God. I'm glad it was gone quick enough. Why Greg let Nick grow it in the first place is beyond me. I guess Nick gets some freedom of expression with Greg, but enough was enough. The fuzzy caterpillar had to go. *choirs of angels sing* Yay.

MsCatherineBrown- thank you for that!! See if that isnt subtexual enough then I dont know what is. Nick said kiss- the officer said kick.

Nicky Nicky Nicky come out of the closet already. We know that you like men, it's ok...

That little scene there is classic cause I bet theres tons of them stuff flying around our DVDs.

Which remindes me that in Season Seven cant remember which episode Nick waves at a fireman and then Greg gets out of his car and waves back (rather sticks his hand in the air!)

Isn't if funny you think that its the men that stop Nick to say hey, or Stokes or something like that. Why...Maybe he has had one time lovers before Greg. But it shows that Nick is gay

Greg we see is talking with women, refering stories about women cause we know he is bisexual.

Serioulsy come out of that closet, it dont matter that Nick Stokes like flat chests and Greg likes both.

I haven't seen for gedda yet, and I can't wait to see the scene in the cafe place. I'm about 5 episodes away now, lol.

I'd never thought about the fact that Nick always stops to talk to guys and say hi, but I personally don't think they'd have been lovers, I don't know, I like to think Nick was really confused but it was Greg who made him understand why.

Bubbles Nooo... Seriously dude why not? Do you know that season eight is being repeated on Five at 9 pm Saturday nights.

LOL of course Greg made him understand why, but Greg is Nicks true love.

Nick has had flings before, and like I said there the firemen and random coppers. Why o why would Nick say "kiss my what?" I mean lol you dont do that.

No it took Nick a long time to realise but when he did, he went to Greg and fell hook line and sinker in love with him.

From the first episode you can tell that theres sooo much chemistry that even a someone who has no vision could tell buy the sexual tension in the air. No other characters in my book has that sorta tension that Nick and Greg has.

Well... I'm going through the episodes in order lol, watching back old ones in between. So I've still not yet to watch, and I'm trying seriously hard to keep them as close to the new season as i can. I've finished on Bull so far.. I'm actually liking season 8, there've been a couple of good love moments so far, but yeh, i'm waiting for For Gedda. I'm doing well... :)

I think very few have the chemistry they do, and I agree when Nick fully understood his sexuality he just fell more and more and more in love with Greg.

Exactly Bubbles!

How romantic is that really though? When Nicky becomes more focused more determined, Greg just being himself... Nick falls madly head over heels in love with him.

Nick might've just had casual stuff before, but falling in love... Thats just intense right? Greg knew from episode one that Nick was wow cute! and that he wanted him... but he never knew that he would fall in love with the Texan.

See ladies, I can do love and romance !!!

Greg is soo easy to fall for, he's defently open minded, care free, sensitive, verging on having ADHD. His tastes in well everything probably makes him easy to buy for but hard to live with. Especially as Nicks' a more quieter, older, set in his ways. (Not very politically correct either!), but saying all that Nick has a good heart and he cares about people.

So ~ sigh.

It was easy for Nick to fall in love with Greg.

Telling him~ blah thats' where the problem lies!

Telling him~ blah thats' where the problem lies!

^^ True that. Its hard for Nicky he has never been opens about his feelings to anyone. Like we have said before he had such a different upbringing it seems then Greggo. Both of them knew there was a connection form the beginning. Personally I have always felt Greggo would make the first move mainly cause Nicky would be nervous about admitting his feelings to Greggo. Where as Greggo is way open about how he feels and what he likes. One of the reasons I love Greggo. Hes just one of those people I think you could talk to about anything and he would always have something to contribute. Where as I love Nicky for other reasons like shyness and his hero complex. Hence the boys making the perfect couple. Fit together like two puzzle pieces.

Nick can definitely be a closed person, but I think he opens up to Greg. Sometimes I wonder if he envies Greggo's freedom to show who he truly is. Greg just has this sort of energy about him, this livelihood that makes you just want to open up and spill your guts.

I wonder if it'd even be possible to have an awkward silence with Greg. Hmm.

Anyways--I was going to say something, but I forgot. Don't you hate when that happens? OH RIGHT! Got it. Aha! *ahem* So what I was going to ask was: When do you think Nick realized that he was gay?

I think with Greg's outgoing personality and Nick's slightly more closed one, they are just the perfect match, fit each other so well, balancing each other out so to speak.

I think Nick might envy Greg's ability to be as open and outgoing as he is sometimes.

regarding your question, I really don't know when I think he knew he was gay. I think that maybe, he always knew he wasn't straight, growing up in Texas he realised he wasn't like everyone else (mostly) (maybe). But I don't think he truly knew until he was older. In my little romantic view of the Love, I like to think he figured it out once he fell for Greg, but maybe it was before, and realistically, possibly was.

It's a very good question. In first season I'm sure that Nick still weren't sure about his preferences. Like this dinner with detective Secula (oh my, he's gentelman, really, she said that he after a week didn't phone her, and what Nicky replied? Of course that he wanted to call... yeah, sure, liar!;)), and all this Kristy thing (it was so easy to see that he's not confident when she's around). I think he was in the big denial. But also felt something to Greg. Of course Nick weren't sure about it too much. Probably he didn't think about it in categories like sexual tension. Just being interested. Poor Nicky, in what way? For example cute scene from I-15 Murders. How I said earlier we saw that Nick weren't really interested in Kristy, he even didn't act like a player. He was shy and closed 'cause he just knew (in some way) that it's not for him. But of course when Greg was around and helping him he acted like a player. I think in this moment he wanted to make Greg jealous (still not sure about what he's feeling to him, just instinct). And his younger mate started to talk about saliva... Yeah, saliva on him, saliva on Nick and what else Nick could say than gross? But when Greg turned to check analyse Nick just couldn't stop himself and checked his ass. Oh, this look was so cute. I think I don't need to say about moment when Greg held this shirt. Yeah, Greg is making first steps, and Nick sometimes couldn't reply (I mean saying something stupid;)). Anyway, Nick quite early started to check ass of his "friend" from work...

Hahahahahahaha! Ladies I'm liking your theories.

Spot on! ;)

Yeah clearly where did Greg grown up? California, which is in one of the top 10 gay friendly places to live.( Real fact that!)

So Greg's being an open minded person, would probably cruise one or two bars/clubs/etc just to check the scene or maybe when he was in college. After all Stanford University is only 37 miles (60 km) from San Fransisco, sooo yeah his friends from college probably helped hm along the way sort of. Cause college life is about discovering, and thats probably where Greg discovered his sexuality. Remember when Sara blagged to Wendy? how old he was when he lost his virginity.

So yeah Greg would be the one to tease Nick.

Poor Nicky, he's soo cluless when it comes to love. Glad Greg fills him in!

Ahh thats probably his way of testing himself and his sexuality. Cause he plays sports etc, and Nick might've seen things when in showers. Saying all that, maybe Nick was too shy to do anything untill he left home. There are gay villages in Texas. Maybe Nick went to the *Oak Lawn* gay village where he became comfortable with who he is.

Look at all the Greg/Eric love here! Great new avatars, ladies!

Anyway, like your theories very much. With Nick it's all subconscious in the beginning. He's drawn to Greg but doesn't realize in what way. So he always is close to him, touching and teasing him.

Deirdre, since you seem to remember that detective's name, what episode was she in? And yeah, that's so Nicky. Forgot to call her, right! I bet he never forgot to call Greg even when they were just friends!

I'm not sure when Nicky realized he might be attracted to men. I kind of agree with you bubbles. My romantic heart wants Greg to be his first and only love of his life, but ...

I can totally see him stealing glances in the showers while he was at school and college, yet not realizing what it meant. He probably felt different but didn't know why. He dated girls but it was never anything more with them.

Gotta go, but I'll be back ...
