shazza, I know Natalie, the other twin, would be happy to make you a banner, she makes them all. Do you have any specific requests? Or any specific Love scene to use?
Erm Have it say quotes like "I'm open 24 Hours" ~ Greg. and Erm "You beeped me from across the Hall" ~ Nick(my favorites lol). Erm and I've almost finished the christmas song video mail it to you asap. lol.

As it has been pointed out that we are running on thin ice, can I remind you (sorry) not to double post... It should all be explained on the FAQ. Also can I also remind you to stick to the 3 lines per post.

If you must spread it out a bit.

Ok I am soo glad that my Nick with his tash and George got a big welcome lol.

Yes I can not wait for that chapel episode.... That will be classic. Then I will say to my friend Well??? Still think that they're straight... But she will say something like, yeah Greg's going to give it to his girlfriend, or why give them two cards and not one???

Now that is a good question- it would hit home sorta thing if the woman gave Nick or Greg just one card....

oh sorry about that candygirl1uk try not to do that again lol.btw, twins sent you the christmas video song request. Should be in your inbox. Hope you like it.

So I figured I'd respond to what shazza said earlier if the rest of the team found out. I know it's been discussed here before, but I can't see them having that much of a problem. After all the crud they see on a daily basis is a gay relationship really going to shock them?

It's also my opinion that at least some of them already know. I'd be surprised if Grissom doesn't already. I know Archie knows. There was one comment after the "I thought we had a relationship" bit where Nick goes: Man you need to get a girlfriend. Nick leaves and Archie screams out the door "You first!". Archie rules.

The only one i could see having a problem is Warrick and even that's a stretch. I really only say that because I swear, we get next to no character development on that poor guy.

Heck, Catherine probably messed around a bit in her day, so I would actually laugh if she was shocked.

Hodges might be creeped out at first, but he'd probably get over it once he realized no one really cared.

Now if TPTB could only see this.

I actually don't think Hodges would be creeped out. In fact, I think Hodges would be one of the first to work it out, and I can just see him rolling his eyes in the background whenever Nick and Greg have one of those subtexty moments. I can also hear him saying "get a room, you two".

I think Warrick would be slightly uncomfortable, but he'd be "whatever rolls with you". He and Nick have been friends for some time, and I doubt the fact Nick's with Greg would change that. In fact, if Nick and Greg did hook up, Warrick would probably be an "about time" person.

Catherine might say something about relationships at work, then go straight back to flirting with Warrick. :p

Grissom I think would just warn them to be careful of what they do at work, and to not attract attention to themselves, especially after what happened with him and Sara.

As already pointed out, I think Brass worked it out long ago.

I was watching the Izzy Delancy (sp?) episode tonight while writing. Nick had a moment where I think he definitely outed himself with his mannerisms. (In our little subtext universe anyway LOL)

It's when Nick and Sofia are questioning Izzy's new wife and Nick says "are you accusing your son of killing your husband?" and the woman laughs and says "he's not my son, he's Izzy's kid with his first wife." The way Nick reacts would totally make me think he was out if I just tuned in and didn't know. It would make a great screencap for the collection.

I don't ever remember that moment being mentioned, but ignore me if it's old news.

It's also funny because they keep cutting from Nick to Greg scanning bed sheets for DNA...and we all know that Greg is thinking about Nick whenever he does that.

Last night I turned on Spike and it was Poppin' Tags - the scene where Nick and Greg are watching Dollar wearing lingerie and talk about 'taking it'. Their reactions aren't squeamish looks or laughter which I would say would be the 2 possible reactions of straight men watching that scene.

Totally agree with you in Poppin' Tags Maggs. If it were Warrick and Archie there would have been a comment or akward silence but Nick and Greg didn't even flinch, either they're very professional or ...

Loved Nicky's reaction to the video in general.

Which season is this Izzy episode again? Was it Built to Kill (S7)? I don't have it yet, wait for the prize to drop a bit. But soon is Christmas ...

So is there a new episode this week and are there any mentionable spoilers? When is the episode we're all excited about? And regarding this one:

Do the spoilers actually say how many cards they get, it's been a while since I read them. Well we all know what it means if they just get one card. They would look at each other and Greg would say "Thanks" and Nicky would blush. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Wow, you guys posted a LOT while I was gone! Took me over an hour just to get caught up! lol. And before I forget here's to a big, warm, traditional The Love Fanship welcome to Shazza and blue! (They say we're the warmest ship out there...)

So, to catch up just a little and add my two cents in for what it's worth... for Nick and Greg's kid, he must definitely have Greg's eyes and mouth, cause I love his looks and his bright smile! Other than that, whatever goes, goes. I don't know about names. But really, this whole thing with kids reminds me of that story Father's First, I believe by Kiekster Bango over on WMTDB. I would go with anything similar to the way that story went, because I loved it so much! In a similar way, if they ever did show Greg's parents on the show, I would love for them to be like Jan and Dave from Maggs' "Where You Are" because I love them so much too! And it would totally explain Greg in all his wonderful oddness! lol.

Love_Fan- I have to say, I loved your coming out ideas! They totally made me go "awwwwww" and all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Totally! Would someone want to do a Moment Challenge fic similar to those for the Defining Moments Wiki?!?! That would be awesome!

And yeah, Candy, that chappel scene all depends on how many cards are given out. I'm hoping for just one!!!

So you all know, I'm working on my next fic, which was originally titled "Bar Dance" and is now called "Starlight". It's a hard one to write because there is no angst at all, so I'll admit I'm not sure that it's working out. If anyone who happens to be good a fluff and non-angst, and wants to calm my fears before I post the first chapter...let me know. Though I have a feeling you'll all love it... I'll just have to go back and reread it.
ok, I'm shutting up now. I need to get to the post office where season two awaits my arrival. Oh, and btw... I got to see CSI: The Experience yesterday(hence having to go fetch season two today) and it was awesome! Greg's got this one comment that goes something like "My Mom always told me I was special...and you're special too. But, wouldn't that mean we're all the same? (he then explains about DNA) Well, I guess that makes me the specialest DNA Specialist!" It was something like that, but so cute, and so Greg like to say. Though too bad they had Greg back in the lab, I figured they would when it came to the DNA analysis. I won't say more about it cause I don't want to give anything major away, but if you do go see it, remember you only get to see one crime scene at a time and you have to pay extra to go back through to see the others. And, no, it was all forensics, no subtext there at all... sadly enough.
ok, getting off my soapbox now...the post office is calling my name!

The spoilers I've read say "They pocket the cards" so I assume that means they each get one.

I'm looking forward to this weeks episode, I don't know if the guys have any screen time together but the ep itself looks exciting.

I will finally see Redrum and the famous Wink of Love, can't wait! :D

Let's hope for some screentime for the boys.

QOTU have fun with S2, it's one of my favourite seasons. The subtext is so strong it screams at you in almost every episode! They were flirting so much. I guess they checked each other out in S1 and then really went for it in S2 just to get together in S3 or at the end of S3 anyway.

I think I'm going to watch Room Service now I just love the way Nick teases Greg and did you notice the look Greg gave Nick when they talk about autoerotic asphyxiaton (totally wrong spelling I guess!)? Priceless!

Greg's look: "Remember Nicky that one time when you weren't careful?"

Nick's look: "How could I forget!"

Oh, and have I mentioned that in the German dubbing Nick is almost never called Nicky? Why is that, do they think that sounds too female? Weird

The foreign dubs of shows always intrigue me. Not that i can understand them, but I'm always curious as to how the characters sound or how they translate some things. Do all of those tools have German names? How do you say ballistics?

I think with some of the subtext we're forcing ourselves on the evidence. Although, to be honest, a lot of it is undeniable. I'm sure there are plenty straight guys out there who can joke around like Nick. Although, I've never seen a straight guy oggle male ass like Nick. The guy's a superstar in that regard.

As for Greg, well, I know he's not straight. He's all but outed himself already, in my opinion.

Love the screen caps love_fan. The boys look so good! :)

I caught the part of 'Friends and Lovers' and I noticed something I didnt before. Nick happens to be working on a case with Catherine. And at the end they find out the why, even though it isnt up to them to do so. Nick say, "I guess they didn't feel like they had a choice." Is this Nicky's way of outing himself without flat out saying it? That he understands why the ladies had to hide their relationship?? Then later in the same convo. Nick does say something but his response to the, "a lose-lose situation" made me feel like he understood (his facial expression).

I thought Nick's reactions in that episode were a little off. Glad to know I'm not the only one who caught that.

Maybe something about being in a homosexual relationship with an attractive coworker caught him off guard. I wonder what that could be.

Some of these could be on account of him having seen a lot on the job, but the reactions in that episode seemed very... genuine and first-hand to me. I wonder how Greg would have reacted. Or if they were even together at that point.

That brings to light something. Do we all roughly agree on a timeline of their relationship?

Heavy flirting in the first 3 seasons or so, together and/or hooking up by season 3-4 and serious after Grave Danger?

What do ya'll think? Hey I live in Forida! I can say ya'll!

I've been neglecting the Fort again. *is shameful* lol

Shazza, I got your email, and I plan to dedicate my time to that on Thursday! Hopefully I can get you your banner by tonight! I remember what you wanted! :)

Also, I'm also looking forward to Thursday's episode "Cockroaches." It's a Warrick-themed episode. When's the last time we had that??!! 90% of the time it's Grissom, Sara or Catherine!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that scene from "Room Service" love_fan! My mouth dropped open the first time I saw it! lol

Well, have fun! I hope to chat more tonight!
