Yeah we're doing great, I admit that I wasn't convinced that Löw was the right trainer for the team, I liked Klinsmann a lot, but Jogi's doing a really good job. It's fun watching the team play, and it's cool that there are so many young men in the team. I'm really looking forward to 2008! WC 08 was just incredible...
 
I hoped Klinsmann would have continued :( :( He is my first football hero <333

Erm, if we don't get in (0-0 was ok with Poland), again I'll be cheering (hopefully) for Holland and Germany :D :D

Thankfully I know now the bars that show the qualifications so I know where the head when the last games are on :eek: (Because here it's Canal+ that shows the games)

AS for Premiere League, I was excited yesterday when Canal+ had three games going on at the same time :lol: :lol: Both Canal+ Sports and Canal+ Mix :lol:
There was Bolton-B'ham, Wigan- ...something and then one more :p

Ohoh, and they show Bundesliga here as well :D
 
I was in the bar watching today's qualification game Finland - Azerbaijan - must have been some -5c in Helsinki :eek:

Anyways. Azers got their first attack on 63rd minute - and scored. I can say there was no pretty words in the air that moment :lol: Thank god we scored two :D First of all, Forssell <3 and the 2nd one - well it looked bit messy but Kuqi got that one :D So now on Wednesday we only need to beat Portugal (in Portugal and we are in :lol:
...so I erm I think not a chance. I mean, it is _the_portugal_

SO I guess 50 yrs from this, when we finally get to the EC, Litmanen will still be playing :p

Of course there is lots of IFS. If in the last game against Belgium, the referee wasn't so blind we'd won that game - I mean - it so wasn't offside because it was BELGIAN PLAYER WHO KICKED THE BALL TO TINTIN (Johansson)!

If we only beat Azerbaijan in first game.

I cannot believe England's good fortune. Both Russia and Croatia lost tonight! :eek: The fact that Israel beat Russia means that England only need a draw against Croatia on Weds to qualify. We don't really deserve it, but it's great that we're now in this position. :D
 
I'm happy about it. EC without England wouldn't be the same. ;)
Maybe the EC 2008 footballs which England got from Austria on Friday brought some luck. :lol:

Well there is another thing. If we beat Portugal (lol!) but Serbia wins both their two last games (yesterday's game was postponed 24h because of heavy snowing) they come 2nd because they beat us :p
 
I'm really excited about the other teams in the group for Germany, I wonder what it'll be, we might have bad luck and get some really strong teams that just didn't play so well in the quali. I'm glad we got through the qualification so easily, despite the 0:3 defeat against Czechia. :rolleyes: The last match against Cyprus was really good, I'm happy that Jens Lehmann did a good job although he doesn't have much practise since he never plays for Arsenal. Furthermore I'm so glad that Lukas Podolski finally got his chance to play a great match, he needed that success! :)
 
Netherlands are in, yay. I'm not that much of a football fan anymore, but I'm happy about it. They didn't do that well in qualifications. If they win today they'll be first of the group. So go, Holland.
 
Ohohoh, I am so excited about to go to bar to see the game. I hope Poland kicks some Serbia's ass tonite (well Poland is in but I still hope they win) or if it's a tie, I am happy as well - then we just need to win :p

And yay for Holland! They better get to play all games in their orange shirts in EC :D
 
I just hope England makes it, too... I don't need stupid remarks from my friends who don't like England - I do love them, and I want them to be in the EC! Ok Germany vs. Wales is starting now, maye I'll watch it just for fun :)
 
Crikey, it's half time at Wembley, and England are losing 2-0 to Croatia. I've never seen England play this badly. :( We have been woeful to the extreme. We better sort this out and fast! :rolleyes:

Ah! Watching England is always very stressful. :lol: I had to leave the room when Lampard took the penalty!

It was bad enough at 2-0 (and let's be honest England deserved that) but to get back to 2-2 was fantastic, and all I could think was that England really needed another goal to take the pressure off, but instead Croatia scored again... Oh well, Steve McClaren will probably be gone, but he made so many management mistakes he doesn't really deserve to stay.

Good luck next summer to those who made it, sadly for us in the UK there will be no home nations there. :(

:( Aw, inge, England are out. They deserve to be too. Croatia completely outplayed us. *sigh* I still can't believe we played so badly. We were missing some good players, but still, it's no excuse. :(
