What a game! I'm not the most positive person, if Uruguay had scored the lead I'd gone to sleep :p

And wow at van Bronkhorst's goal. And what a fail for goalie Forlan's goal.

And two offsides that were no offsides, strange.

I was so nervous after Uruguay scored the 2nd goal and when the ref let the game go on and on and on almost 5mins extra!

And it's a wonder if that Dutchman's nose didn't break. Looked so horrible.

So, tomorrow we shall see, if Germany wins ;)

If it's Holland-Germany final it will be so hard. In past tournaments, Germany has been in finals and hasn't won but Holland. 32 years since their last WC win and they still go above any other team.

I was already considering to buy official Dutch jersey, just haven't found place that 'i could trust' so far.

For me, if I'd only get it with Bergkamp's name ;)

we did not play very well (again :rolleyes:)... but who cares.... we're in the final...

the first goal was beautiful... van Bronckhorst ...

Nervewracking the last minutes...
but we made it....

now we can relax and watch tomorrow's (actually today's ;)) match..
crossing my fingers for Germany.....that would be something...
 
My fortune teller guess wrongly for this match. :lol: Paul may still be right. ;) But I prefer a Netherlands vs Germany final.
 
Congrets....Palmtree....What a game...Now that is football at it´s best.

I really will not tell which country should win tonight.

But if we get a Germany - Holland game, I foresee a more defensive type of game then Spain. But I could be wrong.

But good luck to both team and let´s hope for a great finale.

For tonight I also won't tell who should win... but I favor Spain a little more. :p
 
Would love Germany to win tonight. For me, Germany vs Holland in the final is a much bigger and better game than Spain vs Holland.
 
What the heck was that? I am so mad at the German team! What did they think they were doing?! That had NOTHING to do with football! After this performance, I am glad they didn't win. Congrats to Spain, well deserved!

It seemed Spain didn't allow Germany to play their game.... do you think the absence of Muller was decisive?
anyway it's really too bad there will be no old fashioned Netherlands vs Germany....:(

LOL....perhaps you´re not alone;). But Spain did play the better game and derserve to be in the final. Congrats.

I do think we are in for a more aggresive game, more offense - orientated. The more "tired/woreout" team looses as offensive games is faster in play and more passing ball up and long then cross and more passes.IMHO.

Where did that spanish team appear from? They haven´t played that well before. And where did the German team from games past go??

I asked the same question. I mean wtf? If you let the other, good team (here Spain) to have the ball for 73 minutes and let them create the situations and so on, they will score. Sooner or later. And how on earth Löw didn't see they are not getting thry Spain's defense the way they tried? Even their fast countarattacks failed and when it was succesfull - not enough men. And Germany has so sucky corners.

Against Argentina and England Germany scored because their defense made mistakes and Germany punished for those. Spanish defense didn't make mistakes. The only one was when they let Özil to have space and Kroos had his shot.

Then totally deserved their victory and place in the final.

And with several teams.. where and the shots? I mean turn and turn and once more turn and whoops, there are 3 defensemen in front of you and you lose the ball. And where are chips? How many shots have gone straight towards goalie? Too many.

And Puyol's goal was great!
