Do you have CS4 already? Did what I give you work?

Well, I just put the banners as layers in just one 'banner', then go to windows>>animations, put the time you want and save for web and devices, save it and it's done :)

Hope I explain it ok, since I don't have photoshop in hand :lol:

Thanks! I will try that out soon (right now, I don't have much time).

I have the CS4 30-day trial right now, but two of my computer wiz friends are finding me something permanent. I think I'll hopefully have CS4 when I get back to school because my school generally has all the nifty new software and such for students to use for free during the school year. There's just KeyAccess, which prevents the software from being opened off campus :(

OK, you need a profile code to get this, I see that orla_dark wrote it. Check out her LJ or message her for this code. Then go back to your LJ Profile and just insert this code under "bio", click "save" and that's it. I don't know if you wanna use the same picture or a different one, whatever: you need to upload the picture you wanna use to Photobucket or similar, copy the url-code, and insert it into the following coding of the profile code:

<td valign="top"><center><img src="*here stands the url for your picture*"></center></td>

You should find it near the top of the coding.
I hope this wasn't too confusing...*hides*

I have quite a few textures like these ones, but I can't figure out how to use them so that the black shows up, but the white doesn't.

Example:

borderbyme.png


I know that screen works to get the white part to show, but I can't figure out how to get it to the other way around.

I had two challenge win banners and I used Animation Shop 3 (the Animation Wizard thing) to animated the banners to just flip from one to the other and when I uploaded it here, the animation didn't work. Anyone know why? It was only 20.6 kb.

Maybe I can help, it depends on the way you tried to add your banner. Did you use the Upload Function (with options 1 and 2)? If so, the KB size of your banner needs to be smaller/exactly 20KB, otherwise it won't work. (yes, even those cute little 0.6KB make a difference ;))
If you wanna use bigger banners (in their KB size) just insert the IMG code in the text box above the upload functions (where it says "Edit Signature"), just a small hint :)

Thanks. :) I couldn't put the img code cause I didn't have it uploaded to photobucket. But, I tried cropping it slightly and now it's exactly 20kb, actually it says 19.9kb, but size on disk 20.0kb. And uploaded it again and it still doesn't animate.
