"Targets of Obsession" Discussion *SPOILERS*

Finally watched this episode.

Okay, I still don't really understand the whole trial thing when the dude was already in jail serving what a life sentence? Makes no sense to me.

Waste of tax payers money, if you was me. However, every person is to be tried for the crimes they commit, if they want a trial and don't deal.

If Haskell killed a fellow prisoner he would have to face the charges and a probably a trial.

It is a waste of money for sure. I get that everyone is entitled to a trial, I just think its silly when they're already serving a life sentence for murder to be tried for attempted. I mean, they've got a life sentence, so it's not like more years added on to that would make much difference. The only reason Haskell wanted the trial is because it would give him an opportunity to escape. Which I'm still annoyed with.

I liked the rest of the episode, just didn't care for the Haskell stuff.

He was up for trial for stabbing Dr. Ray, a whole separate incidence, that was not part of his other horrendous crimes. But I think your right about the planning of the escape, he'll probably end up killing his crazy girlfriend in the end. What another freak-show EWWWW:mad:

Yeah, I know the trial was for stabbing Ray, but I still don't get why they needed one given that he was already serving a life sentence for the dick and jane murders.

Oh, I'm about 99.9% sure he'll end up killing the girlfriend.

In the new TV Guide Cheers & Jeers section a quick tid-bit about Nate Haskell it got a CHEERS and says~

Cheers to CSI and Lights Out, for putting Bill Irwin in touch with his dark side. The slapstick Broadway clown has taken on gut-wrenching roles as the slithery serial killer Nate Haskell on CBS's forensics drama and the sleazy gangster Hal Brennan on FX's Boxing saga. In the process Irwin has proved that as an actor, he's no joke~[included a small pic. of Langston and him]

Bruce Fretts, writer for TV Guide.. issue.. March 7-13~
