I really, really don't want to lose anyone this close to the end, but sadly there are still two people that I haven't heard from even after sending them pm's, so I have no choice but to disqualify them
Because it's so close to the end of the challenge, this is going to affect how things are done. The next round should have been the semi-finals, followed by the finals. In order to keep it this way, we're going to eliminate only one participant this round, and again next round in the semi-finals.

Wow this is a tough one! All icons are good, but now it's about small things...

02 - The positioning/size of the text and choice of font could have been better/more creative. Maybe giving the text itself a flame-like look or, as not everybody knows how to do that, placing the flames in the background more in the center...

01 - Just great! Cool idea. You can see where the quote is from, who said it, etc - all that in such a small icon. Great.

01 : the text is way too default not a bit creative, it looks like the text was placed right on a blank canvas which makes the icon bland and boring.

02 : the text on this one is the only one that looks rastorized out of the group (not default), i think the effect of the text works really well

Since Melina Kanakaredes is leaving CSI, I was going to use her this round, until I realized that we've already done icons of Stella. Instead, since Sela Ward has been confirmed, we'll be using photos of her

Restriction: Background. Your icon should not have the pictures original background. I don't care if you remove it or cover it up, and I don't care how you do it. As long as the background has been changed. I hope that makes sense, I'm not sure how else to explain it. If you have any questions, please ask
