02: Overall it's a very nice icon... but the texture goes over the subject on some areas

I'll add my two cents worth in on this is getting hard.

02 the negative space draws your eye away from the image
07 Flack's face is blurring into the background

06- Flack is too dark. It's hard to distinguish him.
09- The coloring is off. The whole icon looks green and so Flack just blends with the background.
02- Flack blends with the background and is hard to distinguish.

Best:
10- I love the coloring here. It's gorgeous!
03- Same as before. Plus, I like the simplicity of it.

6- doesn't look like much has been done besides the frame and text. could maybe you a little coloring.
8- the text is really hard to read, and is also a bit over sharpened
3- there is maybe a little too much contrast, especially on the side of his face. it makes him blend into the background a bit.

Best:
5-i love the bright and vibrant(but not overpowering) coloring. and the way you made the frame pop by adding the black behind it, is awesome.
7- i LOVE this coloring, the softness of the pink, and how you framed it, and rotated the picture a bit. i just think it looks really great.

3 - The white frame is too much and because of that Flack doesn't stand out. Text is oddly placed.
7 - Flack's face is too bright and he has a purple eye.
2 - I like the icon but the background should have stayed in the background and not on Flack

6 - too dark, contrast is missing
7 - Flack's face is too bright

1 - I adore the idea of the TV, it's so great !, great colouring and cropping
4 - texture + font + frame = looks really great together

02 - This was a nice idea, but the texture blends into Don's head and the icon is also a bit blurry/needs more sharpness. If you can't get all of the texture erased, try another coloring technique and/or a different texture all together.

06 - The coloring on this one looks a bit default, looks like a frame and text was just added.

09 - The font is way too pixelated and a poor choice of type. Try adding a shadow/glow etc to the font to make it stand out more. Stay clear of using default fonts, downloaded fonts work best.

what text on #5 :confused:

06 looks like nothing was done to this icon, doesnt look colored and is very dark, also the frame and text don't really work well together.
09 coloring is a bit dull and the text looks sort of grainy
10 subject looks just a bit over saturated he's borderline orange/red in color

05 like the coloring for this one nice bright and crisp and i feel that's a good thing when it comes to icons ... not everyone wants an icon that's dark and uncolored
