You don't have to be an 'expert' ~ Vote for the Top 3 of least quality, and the Top 2 of best quality. ~ Votes for least quality Must have a reason, or they will not be counted. Least 4 - Image is a bit blurry and too much contrast. 2 - Text and negative space overwhelms the smaller image. 15 - The graphic seems unnecessary and is distracting. Best 5 - The text and sidebar compliment the icon very nicely. 9 - Crisp, neat, and clean. I like!
Re: Talk LIMS #8: Challenge 4 - Voting! Least: 15 - I don't mean to be rude but it looks like you used toilet-paper as a frame. It's very distracting. Riley is the subject and should stand out more, she to vague in this icon.The text is oddly placed and although the red/pink stroke makes is easier to read it doesn't fit the image. 01 - The crop isn't bad but the flat background clearly shows it's not perfect. I like using tiny text but only if it adds something to the icon. In this case it seems to be there for no reason. 08 - The text does'nt make sense to me and is oddly placed. Part of Riley's face is a bit red, it looks like the gradient wasn't used just for the background. Best: 11 - Great colouring! It's difficult to make a good crop when using only a part of the face but you did a fantastic job! 04 - Maybe Riley is too oversharpened and you could've used less contract but sometimes it just works, I love the outcome! It makes Riley stand out great!

Least 04: There's a significant amount of contrast, which creates uneven coloring on the skin and almost washes it out. 15: The texture doesn't seem to fit with the subject and is detracts from the focus of the subject (Riley). 05: The texture seems to take over the rest of the icon and makes Riley grainy and blurry. Best 06: Awesome crop and style, and the colouring works well. 08: Really cool idea and colouring; everything fits together.
Re: Talk LIMS #8: Challenge 4 - Voting! This is getting harder and harder. Good well done everyone. LQ 15-The border takes away from Riley. My eyes keep going to it rather than Riley. 02-The text and empty background overwhelm Riley 06-The lettering is too cramped together which makes it hard to see the name. BQ 11-Nicely cropped and coloured 16- The floral background adds to Riley's bubbly personality.

Makes the icon look too grainy Best 02 - I really like this one, although Riley could stand out a bit more 11 - Nice. So smooth and a good crop

It goes over Riley's chin and the way it cuts off is a bit weird. 02 - The picture is a little dark. 04 - The lighting on Riley is a bit strange looking and almost makes her look yellow. Best: 06 - Great font and the colouring is great. 13 - The colouring is neat.
