Wow, this is getting harder and harder! I'm sorry for everyone who has had to leave, especially because of RL. Great competition all around!

04. Chad is just too orange/red in this icon. Which is really unfortunate as the icon overall is good.

01. The icon is over sharp, and the text doesn't really fit the image.

03. Nice crop and blend with the text, the icon has a well balanced feel.

02. The icon is nice and bright, crisp and uncluttered The font really works with the crop.

I'm a bit confused about my colouring though. Some say it's good, some say it's not. I did work on it, but I still want it to be a natural colour. Any specific suggestions? :)

Also congrats to _Hush_ for the Dazzle Award! Ya know, I guess your coloring was just a matter of taste: some like it when an icon/the coloring appears a bit pale, others prefer it bright and colorful, so just do it the way you like it best.

Final round now, huh? I'm a bit scared with what you'll come up, Meg. You enjoy it way too much to tease us :lol: :p

Talk LIMS 7: FINAL CHALLENGE!

Well, here we are! Final round. For this challenge, I'm going to ask you to make not one, but three things for me.


Part 1:
This was originally going to be the semi-final challenge. Since I had everything picked out already, I figured I'd go ahead and use it anyway.
The only thing you have to do here is blend at least two of the following images into a 100x100 icon. There are no other restrictions.

Screencaps: Mandy (CSI: Las Vegas)



Part 2:
For this one, you will make a 140x140 icon, using the following screencap. There are no restrictions.

(CSI: Miami, Calleigh and Aaron Peters... I think :lol: "From the Grave")


Part 3:
And finally, you'll be making a 220x75 banner, using the following screencap. There are no restrictions.

(CSI: Las Vegas "Labrats")


Okay, got all that? I hope so :lol: If there are any questions, feel free to ask.

Rules:
~ This is an anonymous challenge, so don't go posting your icon anywhere until this round is over.
~ Your entries should be in .jpg, .png or .gif format.
~ You must use only the images provided
~ No animations will be permitted.
~ Submit your icon by sending me (Dragonfly) a PM with the subject line LIMS Round 11 or similar.
~ Obviously, no skips for this round :p
~ The deadline for submissions will be Monday, June 15th. If you need more time, let me know, we'll work something out. No one's dropping out on me this round!

If I get all the entries before then, I'll put voting up early.

OK, this is seriously much to do, but sounds like fun anyways. My only concern is the "short" deadline, cause from Thursday on till Sunday there's absolutely no way for me to make anything artsy, and also Tuesday and Wednesday will be busy. For one icon it'd be enough, but...ya know ;). Soooo: if you'd be willing to extend the due date for 2 more days I'll bake you double-choc brownies and send them all the way to you to Canada :D

ETA: oh, question! I just read your challenge instructions again and in point 3: do you really mean 75x220px as in 75px width and 220px height, which would be...er...different lol Or just our normal banner size as we normally use it? You know, I'm that nitpicky :p :D

Oh, now how can I resist that? Okay, I can move the deadline to Monday June 15th. I absolutely can't do it any later than that though, because I'm going out of town on the 19th, and we need enough time to get votes.

You know that you'll have to be perfectly clear on how we should vote for this one, don't you? :p
