Bwaha. Dean and his quotes. One of my all time favorites (oh yes, there are a lot of them, I know) is "Come on man. I know Sam, ok? Better than anyone. He's got more of a conscience than I do. I mean the guy feels guilty searching the internet for porn," from Hunted.

Let's not forget a memorable Sam moment:

Dean Winchester:What's a P.A.?
Sam Winchester: I think it's kinda like a slave.

I think it would be funny if Dean and Sam turned on the tv and there was an ep of "Dark Angel" or "Smallville" on with Jensen in it and then Sam would say "Hey, Dean, that guy looks like you." :lol:

fave sammy quotes, i don't know sammy has some pretty classic lines too, albeit not as many as dean, but he has some good ones

Fave quotes? At least one every episode!

"Dude, you fugly!" it's a big favorite of mine! Not so much for what it says but because of the way Dean says it! :lol:

And "I lost my shoe.." for Sammy.And that puppy - face that goes with it! :lol:

Do you think Jensen would make a better Sam?

Personally, I do not think so. Jensen plays the tough guy /older brother really well. I love his sense of humour. Behind that tough exterior, you know he really is sensitive guy. *gushes*.

Still watching season 1. Dean meets his old girlfriend again (the one he was inlove with). The one who dumped him. I cannot believe she dumped him twice. SHE IS CRAZY for doing that. OMG, it was tough watching the love scene.

:lol: How could I forget about the "fugly" quote? It cracked me up so much when he said that. I think that was the first time I ever heard anyone say that on tv. That's gotta be one of the funniest words ever... and the way Dean said it was even funnier.

I don't know... I think the show would be missing an important dynamic without the familly element. I mean, it's so key to who they are and what they're doing, and why. I think the brother relationship was the right way for Kripke to have gone.

I do agree, it is an interesting dynamic. The only reason why I wish that they were not brothers is because it would be wrong to write slashy fics about them. Incest is wrong even if its fiction (I would never cross that line). I suppose that why people are writing RPS slashy fics about them. Not that they believe the actors are gay or dating, its just because their characters are siblings & it would be wrong.

I know some people have a problem with slash fics, but I love them. Too each our own. I think slash fics are the highest compliment that can be given to an actor (my opinion).

Well, I guess if you really wanted to write slash fics of them, you could have Sam with Jensen's Dark Angel character (Alec) or Dean with Jared's GG character (also named Dean, which might get confusing :lol: ).

Yeah, everyone's entitled to their own fantasies! :lol: You can still have "impure" thoughts about them, and any way you want. I certainly have impure thoughts about Jensen on a regular basis. My fantasy would have to be called "Cougar Fics" though! Heh heh.

I think there's a lot of "wincest" fiction out there- people probably get past the idea since they really are just fictional characters, so that maybe leaves a little elbow room. :)

Now, having said all that... I'm still glad Kripke was thinking in terms of good TV, and not in terms of potential slash fics! :lol:

Over the last few weeks, I've watched all three seasons of Supernatural. I'm now officially addicted :lol:

I have to agree. Without the family element, it would be a completely different show... it would loose so much.

it definitely would, the interaction between sam and dean is so amazing if it was gone, i definitely don't think the show would have the same effect one me.

I first watched SN during the strike. So, thanks for the boredom, dear writers! Now I'm re watching it! I love this show and the boys!

About the family element, I feel that the boys being brothers it's the engine of the show. It gives meaning to everything they do. Come what may, they will always be brothers! There is nothing they wouldn't do or sacrifice. I think it's beautiful [chick flick moment], they are at each other throats all the time, they save people and hunt evil SOBs, but it all comes down to the family, always .. what's left of it! It wouldn't be the same if they were just friends...


Sam: Aren't you worried, man? Aren't you worried that I could turn into Max or something?
Dean: Nope. No way. You know why?
Sam: No, why?
Dean: Because you've got one advantage that Max didn't have.
Sam: Dad? Because Dad's not here, Dean.
Dean: No, me. As long as I'm around, nothing bad is gonna happen to you.

That's Dean's way of telling his brother that he loves him. He just isn't one of those touchy-feely type of people so it's kind of hard for him to say. I think it's hard for Sam as well. They say it, but not in so many words. :lol: I love it when Dean calls Sam "little brother". It's so cute. :)
