and i like in the hospital scene, when he's lying there, the stubble can be seen growing back! :D

Well, he has irish/indian parents...For me he is kinda european :D

Just came back from seeing 'Thank You For Smoking' and they had the trailer for 'A Scanner Darkly' before it. Cool to see it on the big screen :)
Anyways, just wanted to share :D
 
Any specific release date for the US yet ? (For A scanner darkly) Did you see Freck in the trailer ?
 
Chez...last I heard, I think the US release date is July 7th. I'm not sure it that's nation wide or just in selected cities at first. I doubt it'll play at any of the local theaters here though. I may have to wait awhile to see it. :(
 
I read that A Scanner Darkly was going to be 'moderately' released in theatres in the United States on July 7th. A wider release was planned around July 14th. You can read more about it Here :) Hope it helps.
 
If I remember correctly, the trailer said "Summer"- no specific release date.

The trailer seemed to me to be a little longer than the one from online, but it had all the Rory scenes you can see in that one.
the "that sure is some silencer" line got a big laugh in the theatre :lol:
 
YAY! Because when I saw that part in the trailer I couldn't stop laughing...Oh they love Rory we know it. :lol:

Anyway...ThisIsMe, thanks for posting about the trailer. I love the fact that Rory's line got laughs in the threater. It's a great line. And Geni...thanks for the clarification about the release date. I seemed to remember reading that it was going to be a limited release at first.
 
Well who knows, not every source on the internet is correct. :D The point is, I'm going to see it if I have to drive 10 000 miles in a smelly bus with drunken old irish guys and smelly babies.....Okay maybe not.

You still have Speed represented in your avatar, so it's ok he's not in the banner, I think.

Hopefully as far away as I'd have to go to see 'Scanner' would be about 30 miles or so, and it's a nice theater, so it'd be ok. I know the two screen theater in the next town probably won't show it.

Yeah the movie theatre I have to go to is 10 minutes away and it's a giant Cineplex Odeon, so they'll show the movie. I can't wait to see it. :D :D
