The turtleneck was hot, the haircut....not so much. The first time I saw CSI: Miami I had to do a double-take. I was like, "That can't be Lucas. Just can't be."

lol...I liked the haircut he had in 'Empire Records'.
I do like the 'Speedle hair' better. Of course, I loved the long hair (wig) he had in Dazed & Confused too...but then again, I'm a bit biased when it comes to anything D&C as it's the first movie I saw Rory in and it's in my Top 10 All Time favorite movies list.
I remember when I first saw Black and White (my 2nd Rory movie) on HBO maybe 5 or 6 years ago, I kept thinking, "I've seen this guy somewhere before." And I couldn't figure it out...I mean it bugged me through the entire movie, lol. I made sure I caught his name when they showed the end credits, and I was like, "Rory Cochrane...I know that name, what have I seen him in??" Finally I gave up and went to bed, I was just on the verge of sleep when I bolted out and said, "Slater!! That was my Slater!!" to an empty room. :lol:
And...I apologize for that ramble.

The Empire Records hair was so cute! he looks so young and innocent and adorable...though I msut also admit, when I first saw Cross-J, I thought "Oh, they have a lab tech like Greg" (when Speedy was analysing the honey) and then halfway through the first season of Miami, they showed Cross-J again, and my brother and I were sitting there watching it jsut going "Who's that lab tech guy?" and I said "I have no idea...I think it might be Speed?" staring at the TV in disbelief because I didn't recognise that haircut...
then when I saw Empire Records earlier this year, as soon as he came on, I yelled out "IT'S THE CROSS-JURISDICTIONS HAIRCUT!"...luckily no-one was home at the time...well, I think no-one was home...

Random...well not really, actually. I was at work today and the other legal assistants and I were trying to think of things to pass the time as we copychecked. Well one girl asked, "If you were stuck on a desert island with a celeb. who would it be?" Obviously, you all know my answer but anyway one of the girls looked at me confusedly and asked, "Who?!" and before I could answer, the other girl replies, "Uh, hello... didn't you ever see Empire Records?"
I cracked up. It was great.

It is sad how no one knows who he is. I always get weird looks when I mention him. Miami is actually the first thing I saw him in, and I didn't see Cross J's until I'd already seen a lot of season one. I'm not sure how I missed it, as I was already a CSI fan.
