That was so adorable and funny fo_poozle and you can also find the Miami books for wicked cheap on Amazon. I've noticed that as of late Amazon is Rory Central. I've been able to find a lot of stuff - I'm eagerly awaiting my copy of Sunset Strip. Oh happy day! :D

The "Speedy don't play that" line is what ruined that whole bit for me. It was an otherwise great pasage, but that line was so out of character for Speed that I couldn't possibly imagine him saying that. I do agree though, that with the exception of that line, the author pretty much nailed Speed's character. And some of the descriptions of Speed, appearance wise, were priceless. :lol:

I agree... that line, was out of character for him.

I had a dream last night. Yeah, that a big deal. I don't usually dream. And when I do, I don't usually remember all the details, such as this time. But... It had to do with CSI: Miami. I was watching the show... except it's possible that I was actually in the show (not on it, in it), and Speed showed up, and I was just like, "yeah, I knew you weren't dead" and that's about all I remember. I know there was more to it... but it's kinda fuzzy.

Lol. Anyway, just thought I'd share. That's only the second time I've ever had a dream with a tv character in it. (I recently dreamed that Eric Delko was my new boss).

The line definitely ooc for him; when I read it, I was thrown for a loop.

Oh and how I envy you DrgonflyDreamer (and anyone else who has had a Speed dream). I never have good dreams like that. :(

I agree about the description of Speedle, Jen. :D That was the icing on the cake, and it was just so visual. And even though that one line was completely out of character for him, it still made me laugh. :p (Well, it WAS funny so I guess that was the point eh?)

*raises hand* I've had a Speed dream. I've actually had a couple, but I can't remember what happened in any of them. When I remember, I'll get back to y'all. ;) If you want some crazy dreams, just ask Katie. (speedmonkey2) Her dreams are the epitome of excellence. :D

Ah yesh, long live the Speedy dreams. I've had a few, one good and one bad, but it was so long ago that I can barely remember them...

and I think I should put this next thing in spoiler tags because it gives away the ending for one of Rory's movies and I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it.
Oh oh oh, yesterday, I was watching NYPD Blue (yes, I am a nerd) and I kinda thought that I recognised one of the guys in the episode, and then all of a sudden it hit me: Michael Clemence. My first reaction was "IT'S MIKE...I MEAN ARMAN, OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS. HE'S THE WINKING CORPSE KILLER! CATCH HIM SIPOWICZ, HE'S GONNA SHOOT RORY!" and then a giggled for the entire time he was on it. Though I was very disappointed that he wasn't the killer in the episode. He was a bad guy, but not the murderer. Though I did find it slightly ironic that his girlfriend ended up being the killer :lol:

i unfortunately haven't ever had a good speedle/rory dream. i always have weird ones where hes like yelling at me for not putting his cd's in order or something. i have weird, weird dreams ha

Carly your take on various situations never cease to make me laugh. :lol: But I agree, there is some irony in there. ;) - I think I've actually seen that episode of NYPD Blue as well! Perhaps I should be paying more attention to the guest stars. :p

Well hey he was in the dream, so that's still a plus right? ;)

That being said, you just reminded me of the one Speedle dream I had, so here I go with my 'dream rant'.

Okay, so in the dream I'm a cop, and I'm at a crime scene. It's at my best friend's house, and it's one of those really posh Miami houses with the brick siding and such...So anyway, I'm outside with all the cop cars, and I'm wearing this kickass black dress shirt ('Cause my mind sometimes let's me have what I want- I'm not Speed in the dream btw) and jeans, and so I walk into the house with my kit and it turns out my best friends' mom was killed, so I'm there to investigate. I ask my friend what happened, and she tells me that she found her like that. So, I walk back outside, and I take the sample of GSR from her hands that I magically end up with and it turns blue - Meaning it's positive.

So I go back inside the house, and it suddenly turns into an interrogation room. (My dreams are pretty convenient when things are going right eh?) So I start yelling at her for killing her mom, and I place the paper with the results down on the table. She finally breaks down and confesses to the murder. After that, I walk back outside and Speed's in the driver's side of a cop car, wearing a cop uniform. (For some reason)

And then he takes off his shades and says "Want to go for some steak?" and I say "I don't really like steak." and he says "Sure you do." So I stand there for a second, and then I say "Is this your way of asking me out?" and he smirks and puts back on his shades, starts the engine, and waits. I smile, and get in the car. End of dream.

haha thats an awesome dream i especially like the "want to go for some steak?" because, maybe its just me but i could see him saying that :lol:

Talk about one heck of a dream - my dreams are nothing like that...they're usually pretty boring and random.

fo_poozle thanks for the picture (just what I needed to cap off my night - maybe it'll conjure a dream of my own, haha).

Anyway, I too can see him saying that... it's just classic. Oh Speedle - he's got a way with words. :D

Awww what a cute piccie. He pulls off the shades rather well.

And speaking of Speed dreams I had another one last night. It wasn't anything scaring like the axe man dream. But yet it wasn't funny and cute like the mustard dream. It was just one of those dreams that seemed really really real. And you kinda wake up in a panic. Anyways I won't bore you with it lol.

Speaking of dreams, I finally had one! Instead of it being Speedle centric, it had to deal with Rory. I was standing outside of nightclub, and he was standing by his motorcycle attempting to light a cigarette. However, his lighter wasn't working and so I walked up to him and asked if he wanted to use mine. And as I go to give it to him, I stop and say something along the lines of, well you gotta give me a ride on the bike first and Rory raises an eyebrow. I shrug and as I move to put the lighter away, he stops me and says, alright fine - just gotta warn you - I go really fast...

...and that's when I woke up. I hate my alarm. :mad:

maybe it was a weired night because I dreamed of CSI miami too :p It wasn't my first one but this one was awful I was with all the team and we were working in a really hard case: 5 children murdered... And I remember that I can't stop crying and when I woke up I was in panic, crying and all!!!
It was sooooo weired I don't want that again!!
I think I'm watching CSI too much LOL

It's funny how one show (and one dashing young man ;)) can make our dreams come to life...In our heads. :lol:

haha..well i suck i had no rory/speedle dreams. and that sucks about your ending like that SincerelyInDenial don't you just hate alarm clocks?
but i was so stoaked yesterday i found the last don at the mall, i bought that shaz right quick and then i stayed up til 4 am watching it. i love evil, bad hat wearing rory.
