so. how's your love life?

:lol: Ah, my sister and I used to think the same thing about my mother. At one point she had five cats and was pretty much a 'crazy cat lady', but now she has found love with a new man and is crazy in love! So, you never know when you will find love, it can happen at the most unlikely of times (although for my mother it was on a round-the-world cruise, which I think is hilarious). :)

In 15 days I will celebrate my fifth wedding anniversary, so I guess you could say that my love life is pretty good. :D

Well, for me, I'll join the group of Katie, SandleDL and partly Ducky :lol: You can say I'll soon celebrate my...er...*doing maths* 8th no-boyfriend-in-sight-and-nobody-is-interested anniversary :p Yay! *opens champagne* ;)
But I have to say, after such a long time being single, I guess I'm somewhat incompatible to a partner - I developed too many weird habits, a possible candidate would get insane soon :D
 
^I was thinking the same about being incompatible. I was single for 2 years before I met my girlfriend. We are alike in so many ways that we fit immediately. I would have never thought there was a person as queer as me. :lol:

That's to say don't give up. In this overpopulated world there must at least be a handful of people who are compatible with even the hardest cases ;)

Just not easy to find them... took me 19 years. (though only 3 or 4 of actually looking out for someone)
 
I'm joining the other single girls in there too.

I'm happy being single, don't get me wrong I have had boyfriends just not in the mood to have one right now. Dealing with college issues and other personal things just doesn't make me motivated to have one.

But if someone comes along that is interested and the time feels right then I may take him up on that offer.
 
Well, looks like antisocialism didn't help me much. I've now been dating one of my friends (who tells me he's had a crush on me since I met him :lol: :rolleyes:) for almost five months now. Kinda cute actually.

He's a real nice guy, very much a nerd, but I still really like him. I'm really happy. :)
 
Mine's pretty good at the moment. I've just started a new relationship, been with someone for about 5 weeks now. So far so good. It could all go wrong though so I'm just taking it one day at a time and seeing where it all goes. Luckily he's as like minded as I am about it all so we are both agreeing to take it slowly. No whirlwind romance for us which I'm happy with.
What I've learnt about him so far I like and he's also not too bad about talking about things that are bothering him which is good.
 
The compilacation for me is that I know the guys out there and what they're like........but they're not my type and my type is very compilicated (I have a list of things Iwant in a guy).....but i know I'm never gonna get what I want so I seat and wait for a guy to come to me.........but i know that'll never happen, and I don't wanna make the first move and sound desperate......Its my low self esteem that lets me down...... :(

Ah, I suppse I'm still single because I don't want anything to do with relationships, simple as that. Maybe I will in 10 years, but not now.

:lol: Well with my cat, it's a very one sided relationship. :lol: I feed her, buy her toys, beds, tell her she's 'soooo pretty' and she only wants anything to do with me when she's hungry. :eek: Omg, cats don't even love me. :lol: ;)

If it were up to my girlfriend we'd end up the creepy old lesbian couple with the 20 cats :lol:

Good thing we made a deal. 2 cats per kid. No way on earth she'll have 10 kids though. :p

:D Yeah, my mom wrote nearly the exact sentence in my Christmas cards for 5 years now!
 
I am with a guy for 10 months and our relationship is getting better and better every day . In the beginning , when we confessed our feelings we didn't kiss , we did it almost 2 months later . I love him so much and I think the best day is the one I spend with him . He's my second boyfriend , but the first relationship was a failure , so I
consider that didn't exist . The beautiful fact is that he respects me very much , and he loves me a lot and I also have some powerful feelings for him.

Oh I was on a date yesterday! We had dinner at one texmex place. I am so bad with eating when I am stressed. I told him I am feeling funny and it's always like that when I have to eat with strangers... I mean the feeling that you'll throw up. So I was slowly eating my potatoes and chicken... and tried to eat as much as possible (well there was soooo much potatoes) until he said I don't have to eat it all and I just said will be too embarassing to leave food on plate when someone else is paying :lol: I gave up after 45 mins because it was mostly cold :lol: :lol:
