Sara and Nick slowly make their way down to THEIR room. Nick can't help but feel the exciment and anticapation of sharing a room with sara, but starts to get a little scard. he knows what he wants, but isnt sure if it's what sara wants. What if he can't contain himself? what if he couldn't resists himself from making a move? their friendship is way to important to blow.

S: number 3... here it is.
N: *looks up at their room number*
S: I can't believe all the rooms are booked.
N; *nods his head, still letting the thoughts fliter through his mind*

As sara slips the key card into the to slot, they both hear the reasuring 'click' that allows the door to open. As they step inside, the both stop and admire the beautiful bedroom befroe them.

large, king size bed, soft, comfty couch, across from a lite fire place. the breeze from the beach sweeping through the open glass door, making the white curtians sway back and forth. The tan colour on the wall set the inviting mood as soon as you stepped in. the wild, green plants making the bedroom feel like a true tropical resort.

N: this is amazing.
S: *smiles* i love my parents...
N: *smiles over at Sara**says in his mind* yeah... me too...

Grabbing Sara's hand, Nick leads her out to the gorgeous deck. the veiw of the setting sun making the moment even more memorable. Candles lite, flowers still blooms, it was amazing. the way the light wind played with Sara's hair and the last peeks of sun still lighting up her breath taking features, Nick couldn't image a more gorgeous site. This was, indeed, gonna be the best vacatoin ever.

they are to absorbed watching the view and still holding each other's hand and they we're startled when the phone rings and they pulled apart.

s: *pick up the handset* hello
m: where eating lunch in 3 hours so be at the dinning room and tell nick that okay
s: okay, thanks dad, i'll see you at lunch
n: so who was that
s: that my dad he said will eat lunch in 3 hours
n: so let surf to kill time
s: you read my mind, i'll go change in the bathroom
n: not if i beat you to it first. :devil:

that all i got for now.

 

after their flirty banter over who gets the bathroom first, and finally getting changed, nick and sara were ready to quickly catch some waves before meeting for dinner.

S: *places her board down and looks out into the open beach* i haven't been here in the longest time.
N: *smiles* i've never been here.
S: well... i'll help your first stay be enjoyable.
N: *smiles, hoping that doesn't just mean surfing with her*
S: ready to catch some waves?
N: *smiles* i'll race you in...
S: *smiles* you already know i'm faster then you, Stokes.
N: *lightly laughs*

Without another word, Sara bolts toward the beach, leaving her board behind. Eyes wide, Nick runs after her. Before Sara could step into the water, Nick grabbed her and brought her into his embrace. Sara, in Nick's arms like a hug, was smiling and laughing. The sun setting, Nick and Sara were giggling and smiling. Nick lifting Sara up, allowing Sara to wrap her legs around his waist trying as hard as she can to bring him down. Finally seceeding, Nick falls down on the warm sand, Sara landing directly on top of him. Staring at each other in silence, they both couldn't help but smile. The scene, the chemistry, the perfect moment...

S: and i guess i'm a better fighter then you.. *smiles*
N: *smiles back* really?...

And with that Nick rolls Sara off of him and pins her down under near them. His hands on her rists, his legs between hers, she looked gorgeous.

N: now who's on top...
S: *shows her gap tooth smile* shut up.

Standing on the walk out deck, the stokes can't help but smile. nick was their last son, their only unmarried son. Seeing him so happy was a thrill to their eyes. And the person that was creating such joy was all the more better.

B: our nicky's growing up.
J: *smiles* i see that.
B: Sara's a sweet girl. I'm glad they both have an interest in each other.
J: *nods*
B: *looks over at his wife* We did a good job.
J: *looks over and smiles* I know sweetie, i know...

Pulling Sara up off the sand, Nick's love for her started to grow stronger. he loved everything about her. her personality, her smile, her engery, her bathing suit... Grabbing their boards, he headed toward the water. Sara stood at the water's edge, once again looking out into the distance.

N: Sara...
S: *looks over at Nick*
N: here.. *passes her board to her*
S: *smiles* thanks.
(silence)
N: Sar,
S: *doesn't respond, still looks out into the ocean*
N: is there... something, you..
S: *looks over at Nick* the water's warm, lets get some surfing down.

Not about to get another word in, Sara rushes off into the sea, leaving Nick wondering what might be going on with the person he loves...

after 2 hours in the water surfing, playing in the sand and a lot of flirty banter, they head back to clean themselves and meet their parent's in the dinning room. nick keep remembering the far away look that sara had before they went in the ocean, wondering if he could find that out and help her through it to.

s: ready to go nick
n: *nodding his head* ready
s: did i made your first few hours happy
n: not quite there yet
s: hmm! okay i'll try and make your stay more enjoyable and relaxing
n: that would be great.

as they near the entrance of the dinning room sara suddenly stop to see someone very familiar and turn herself around.

s: nick i forgot something in our room

and before nick could answer she was running to the direction where they come from.

b: there you are, where's sara
n: she went back to our room
b: okay then, lets go in.
n: *faintly* yea

m: nick where is sara?
n: she went back to the room she said she forgot something.
m: right *look at his wife laura*
l: *understanding the meaning of the look* i go get her
j: did i miss anything
l: nothing at all. excuse me.

s: *hears the door bell and open the door* mom
l: so what did you forgot?
s: my ah (suttering)
l: you saw him did you?
s: how...
l: *she cut her off by waving her hands* did i know, look sweetie he is a guess in here, you know
s: but..
l: be civilized he was your boyfriend
s: yeah was, but i dont ...
l: wanna see him
s: yeah
l: why not we have dinner here then will ask the stokes if they would like to eat ice cream some place else
s: i dont feel like eating at all
l: sara sweetie i'm here nothing bad will happen to you
s: i know
l: lets go to the dinning room.

seeing sara return, nothing exactly new in hand, nick got up and walked over to her. concerned and confused.

n: *walks up along side her**whispers* you ok?
s: *forces a smile* yeah.. i'm fine.
n: what'd you forget..
s: *starts to worry, not sure what to say* my, ah... my cellphone.
n: *confused, and not convinced* your... cell phone?
s: *smiles* what if work ca...
n: *cuts her off* his is vacation sara, get used to it. *smiles*
s: *smiles back as they arrive at their table*

j: everything good?
l: *slowly nods her head*
n: *pulls out sara's chair*
s: *sits down*
b: so, what have you two been up too all day?
s: i was teaching nick how to surf.
n: what?... no way, i know how to surf.
s: *smiles* ok, i was teaching you how to surf PROPERLY.
n: *laughs*

Sara and Nick get into a flirty banter and Jill and laura step away, leaving the men to suffer through the adorable banter.

j: so.. what's going on, laura?
l: it's sara... sara's boyfriend.
j: *gets worried* BOYFRIEND?!
l: *laughs* i'm sorry, ex-boyfriend.
j: *lets out a sigh* so, what's the problem?
l: well... he's always had a thing for sara. it's never changed, not sure if it will. they were together for a while, 3 years? both really happy. but, when Sara moved to Vegas, something changed. She said she didn't love him anymore, but he never got over that. Last time sara and brad, that's his name, were together in the same room, sara was sitting with my best friend's son. brad came up and punched him. he started to beat him up, saying that he doesn't deserve to be with sara.
j: *eyes wide* wow.
l: my best friend's son ended up having to go to the hosptial.
j: that's horrible!
l: and i think that's why sara's so scard. the boy was just sitting beside her, but with nick...
j: they actually act like a couple...
l: *nods her head* he's gonna wanna talk to sara.
j: yeah... we want me to get nick out?
l: if it's ok.
j: *nods* it's ok with me. is ok with nick? not sure. they way he's been acting toward her, doesnt seem like he ever wants to leave her.
l: *smiles* they're gonna be together.
j: *smiles back* i can't wait.

m: OK OK!! our food's here! *finally stopping the flirting*
b: *smiles*
n: well, arial, *smiles* let me gues.. you ordered the salad.
s: how did you know, Sebastian?
n: i guess i just know you.
s: *smiles as she grabs her salad and takes a bite*

 

wow emily i was thinking of the same name for sara's ex. great job.

n: you know, you should eat more
s: i'm saving space for ice cream
n: you barely touch your food
s: i want ice cream
n: okay, i'll buy you an ice cream if you take other bite of your food *raise the fork to sara's mouth*
s: *took the salad out of the fork, chew and swallowed it* happy now
n: *press his right thumb to the left corner of sara's mouth to wipe, the sauce and then proceed to licked his thumb to his mouth* now i am

unknown to them they being watch by a man wearing his dark blues all to angry on that action and coming closer to their table.

Laura's eyes widen as she sees a certian man come closer and closer to the adorable couple. panicing, she turns to Jill for help.

L: get nick outta here.
J: *confused look* why?
L: *looks up* he's coming...

Terror races across Jill's face as she looks up at the angry man. Quickly thinking, she turns to nick.

J: Nicky, can you go get the car for mr. sidle?
N: *takes his gaze off sara and on his mom* huh?
J: *smiles* please honey?
M: *notices what's happening and slides his keys on the table*
N: *grabs the keys, clearing annoyed that he can't stay and admire his sunshine* ok... *looks down at sara and smiles*

Sara gets confused as she looks over at her mother, but that emotion quickly turns around as she hears the voice from behind her.

Brad: Sara Sidle...
S: *heart sinks* Brad... *looks around and sees the, now, smiling man.*
Brad: *still smiling* how have you been?
S: *clearly annoyed and scard* pretty good, you?
Brad: *ignores that question, he's voice now turning cold* who was that?
S: *eyes widen as she looks at her parents* A friend....
L: *jupms in, seeing her daughter's terrified eyes* Nick Stokes. He's Jillian and Bill's son. from texas. they came down for the weekend. We... grow up together.
S: *crosses her fingers, hoping the lie works*
Brad: Nick Stokes... what does mr. stokes do for a job.
Sara: *says it quickly* He's a cop... *once again, lying*
Brad: *eyes widen* a texan cop... you two... together?
S: *heart's beating quickly* no. we're been friends for the longest time. like... a.. brother.
Brad: *smiles, happy with the answer* a brother.
S: *nods*

Looking back, Bill sees Nick pull Mike's car up to the side. sliding out of the door, nick starts to head inside.

Bill: looks like nick got the car.

Everyone practicly jumps out of their seats

Laura: great.
Brad: *grabs Sara's hand* so... i'll see you later?
S: *forces a smile* maybe..
Brad: great. *kisses her hand* By honey.

Brad releases sara's trembling hand as he walks back to his table. Sara, scared as ever, can't wait to get to the ice cream part of the night.

Jumping out of the car, Nick grabs the keys and closes the door. looking over at his table, he sees everyone getting up, aware of the car's arrival. leaning against the car, he continues to watch the familys start to head to the door. not seeing sara, nick makes his gaze more open. his heart sinks as he sees sara, a man by her side, his lips on her hand. Tears start to form as the edges of his eyes. she had a boy friend? his chance was stolen once again?

s: get inside the car.

every one got inside the car and everyone so quiet.

n: so who was that guy sara, a boyfriend?
s: stokes, not your business
n: a little fiesty arent we.
s: *sara pull over* dad i'm not up to eat icecream
m: okay, where do you wanna go?
s: i'm going alone okay *step outside and run*
n: i'm going after her *step outside and run after sara*

both the parents left to go for an ice cream and praying that both of them will be okay.

n: *shouting* sara *he caught up with her and grab her arms* sara talk to me *he hears her sobbing and envelop her in a hug* ooh sweetheart dont cry. *he just keeps hugging her*
s: *wipes her tears* i'm sorry nick
n: nothing to be sorry about
s: can you not leave me alone
n: okay, do you want to go back to the resort
s: no...

nick's thinking what happen between when he got the car and seeing sara with that guy, if he hurts her he'll kill him. and he envelope sara again in much tighter hug. if she does not want to go back to the resort, he can book for another hotel for both of them or go anywhere sara wants even to another state.

nick and sara walk along in silence, both enveloped in their own thoughts, until sara's heart jumps a beat again.

S: *stops and turns around*
N: *gets confused* Sar...
S: my "boyfriend" is coming...
N: *still confused as he looks at the coming people*
S: *grabs his hand* he's my ex. but, he still hasn't gotten over that.
N: *smiles* i wouldn't want to get over that if it had yo..
S: *shhhs him* he... doesnt want me with anyone but him...
N: so..
S: *whispers* stay away from me...
N: *confused and a little bit hurt by the bluntness of her voice, but still follows what she's saying. staying a few feet away and fighting the temptation of putting his arm around her**whispers* so what do i do now?
S: act like my brother.
N: *smiles* then i'd be pulling pranks on you...
S: *clearly not amused* nick...
N: ok, ok..

As sara and nick continue walking, now in silence, they start to feel the unwelcoming presence come up behind them.

Brad: I knew i'd see you again.
S: *rolls her eyes as she turns around* yah..
Brad: *moves his gaze to Nick* and you must be mr. stokes...
N: *extends his hand* Nick.
Brad: *grabs it, digusted by the thought of touching his hand* Brad Kent. so, how do you know sara?
N: *looks over at Sara, worry in her eyes* we go way back. grew up together. like brother and sister.
S: *starts to feel confident*
Brad: you two together?
N: *smiles* no... she way out of my league.
S: *smiles*
Brad: yeah... she's more in my league. *smiles at sara*
N: *has the what-the-f expression on his face*
Brad: me and my honey were together for a while. *grabs sara's hand* and hopefully will be together again.
N: *expression turning mad now* that's... adorable?
Brad: *doesnt take his eyes off sara*

Seeing the terror in sara's eyes, nick decides to get brad off her and take her away, but not without letting this guy know that he wasn't the only one with sara dreams.

N: *grabs her other hand* well, SUNSHINE, we'd beter get going. *smiles confidently at brad* nice to meet you brad.
S: *slides her hand out of brad's grasp* bye.
Brad: *expression turning cold as he gives nick the evil eye* bye, sweetheart.

Anger starts boiling up side nick as the start to head away. with out another thought, nick decides to give brad something to really worry about. nick slides his arm around sara's waist and pulls her closer, whispering sweet nothings in her ear. this act going up noticed by brad, starts to get him to think that there was indeed something going on between the 'siblings'.
