Shrine of Archie-goodness

The "Shrine" has been awfully quiet lately so I thought I'd bear witness to a bunch more new "graven images" over at Pronounced "kay-oh" - not the least of which are some great screencaps from when he was on "Huff", "Once and Again" and "Century City"! (Thanks again Krissy!)

Also - he has the questions everyone sent in and now it's just a matter of him getting the time to answer them! He's working on it - he really hit the ground running when he came back from vacation - so please be patient. He's on it, and soon as he gets those answers to me I will let you know...

Also, Jerry Chan's at work on the graphics, menu, etc. for the "Fast Money" DVD so I hope to have news on that before too long. Meanwhile it's hitting festivals all over the US. Dallas fans, sorry it got stuck in a late Sunday night/18-and-up block at AFFD, but it'll be in another festival in Wichita Falls this October so keep checking over at the "Fast Money" website for updates and I'll have 'em here and on PKO as they come through...

ALSO...you Archie hardcores know he was in a movie called "Nomad" which was filmed in Kazakhstan a couple years ago but lost in distribution limbo for a while...well, the Weinstein company picked it up at last year's Cannes festival, and I'm hearing noise about it being released in the US, possibly this fall! That's all I know so far, and soon as I know more, so will you...

*Tiptoes in quietly*

WOW. The rumors are true - there really is an Archie-centric thread.

WHOOPEE!!! :D

I am fairly new to the board and have spent almost all my time in the universe of YoBling (my obsession), but am very happy that there is a place for my secret crush. OOOPS, it's secret no more! :p

I so need to go check out pronouncedkayoh.com...

Hope you're enjoying the site!

Just a few updates - keep checking the "Fast Money" website for info on the festivals the film will be screened at this year. More SoCal (L.A. and San Diego) screenings coming up as well as North Texas, Toronto, Boulder (CO), Vancouver, and I'm sure there will be more. And shouldn't be tons longer until the DVD is available...

Archie IS working on the Q&A...he's had a lot of interruptions but - knowing him, the results will be well worth the wait. I'll pimp it far and wide once the answers are back...:D

Oh, and if you check the site out, do please sign up for the message board! If you signed up for the old original (PHP) one, you'll need to re-register - we've switched to EZBoard so - it's new, cooler emoticons, and less technical drama.

Hoping to have some cool news real soon...

Well, a few little updates...the screening in Hollywood went really well tonight. Sold out, real good program of shorts...great night over all.

Archie IS working on the Q&A answers. Be patient - his computer malfunctioned on him and it's been frustrating, but...be patient. I thibk he was surprised and pleased with the diversity of questions he got...

Also he's going to be in "The Hills Have Eyes II"...I think I floored him when I admitted the original THHE was the only movie I've ever walked out of...just not into the brutally horrific stuff...and his role isn't much more than "cannon fodder", basically, but...it's a movie role. (Damn, when he originally told me "Wes Craven" I was hoping it was that new techno thriller...) It's Archie, though, so you know I'm gonna support it...pass the Jameson's...he has a ton of irons in the fire!

Also as far as the "Fast Money" DVD - Jerry Chan says his target for release is October. He looks like he's down to the cosmetic "tweaks" so it shouldn't be long, and once he has it ready, trust me, a pimping I shall go... :D Believe me, this is a fantastic film!! They've also got a festival lined up in Hawaii now...lots of chances to see it!

Whoo...I'm tired but still "amped" from the screening tonight...hopefully I'll have the Q&A answers back before too, too long. As busy as Archie is, it's hella nice of him not only to do it, but to put such importance on it. Being nice carries a lot of weight with me, and it's so nice to see a talent I respect so much be as terrific a person as he is. Yes, I am a blithering fangirl. Deal. :D

Bumping this since, hey, all the other Lab Rats' threads were on the front page... :D

Seriously a couple bits of new news...Archie's in Morocco working on the Wes Craven film...he'll only be there a few days.

Good news for us - he just got done with a TON of filming for "CSI", so we'll be seeing much more of him in upcoming eps (looking at "Post Mortem" and later eps) than in the early part of the season.

And "Fast Money" is still going strong on the festival circuit (upcoming in Canada, Hawaii and Australia) and hopefully the DVD will be out next month...

*pops in to say hi*
i like archie. dont know why i never came in here before.
hes only im morrocco for a few days? wow. is that the only place he went? cause to fly all the way there for a couple days sucks. and why morrocco speciffically (why is the movie being done specifically there)

Nice wallpaper, hodges_alias_47.

Pabzi - the story of the movie is supposed to be set in a National Guard training situation in the Middle East. I'm presuming Morocco was chosen A) because of it's similarity to the terrain in the storyline without putting a U.S. production in too close proximity to the "unpleasantries" going on a ways east of there, and B) though there's plenty of desert terrain in the southwestern U.S. where they could have filmed, taxes may be a consideration there. (Taxes on revenue from work performed outside the U.S. or England - long history of bands recording in other countries for the tax break, etc.) And Archie's only going to be there about a week because his character in the film, well...doesn't get a lot of screen time, to put it gracefully.

He might...and I emphasize MIGHT...be doing a public appearance in London before he comes home. Something he wants to do, Jerry Chan (filmmaker of "Fast Money") told me that's his intention, but as hectic as Archie's schedule is and as frantically as the schedule changes, it's not carved in stone.

Updates, as soon as I get them, will be all over Pronounced "kay-oh"...

Did anyone know that he was in tonight's episode of Heros? He plays the ER doctor when the cheerleader and boy come into the hospital after the car accident.
