i have the first half of cpt9. i'll post it and i'll likely have the next part up on tuesday. i've been banned for a week from the internet pc at home so i'm in town at my local internet cafe

Chapter 9

Emma’s POV

We actually ended up at the restaurant that dad and I were to meet for dinner.
“Emma” a voice came from behind us.
I turned around to see Dad and Sara standing there smiling.
“Uncle Sam. This is dad and Sara. Dad uncle Sam is grandma’s brother.”
“Sam how are things?” dad said.
“Good. Emma will tell you what we talked about earlier? Emma do you want me to take care of Master Blaze while you guys talk?” Uncle Sam said.
“ Thanks Uncle Sam. I’ll ring when we have finished and can I have that box I gave you?”
I passed Blaze’s stuff to Sam and Sam passed me the boxes back.

Dad walked up to get our table when Sara came up Greg and I and said, “I told him. Greg Aaron’s my son. Grissom’s son. Greg, James is my younger brother. What did you find out?”
“Chris got a job as a teacher at Butterfield Academy. He’s moved everyone here. Aaron graduated from High School last week.”

Great story!! but....the chapters are preety short and some of them, when a person is speaking....you have no clue who is speaking.

We walked to our table and dad smiled at me.
“Em you want to tell us what’s going on?”
“Uncle Sam’s neighbour has moved but hasn’t found a buyer for the house. It’s perfect”
“We’ll check it out tomorrow. After I find out where my son is and then I’ll give you my answer”
“Sure. Greg I got you something?” I said passing the blue box to him.

I watch him as he opened the box and saw the note I had left. The note said, “Marry me”
He turned to me and kissed my lips saying, “Yes.”
I could feel dad’s eyes looking at us as we made out, so I lightly bit the inside of Greg’s mouth.
He pulled back and said, “Ow why did you do that?”
“Them.” I said sliding on the engagement ring I had brought myself.
Sara was the first to notice the ring and what had just gone down. Dad was still unaware.
“So what just went down is important?” Sara asked us as the waiter came to take our orders.
“Yeah” Greg and I said at the same time.

After we ordered dad turned and looked at me.
“Emma I asked Sara to move in with us. Is that an engagement ring?”
“Yeah dad. It is”
“Greg you are supposed to ask me if you want to marry my daughter”
Greg looked over his glass and said “Grissom, I didn’t ask her. She just asked me. If you want to know I was planning to ask for you permission in the next week. Emma just bet me to it I guess it’s all part of her plan.”
“Greg just for you to know I don’t have anything against you being with my son-in-law. It’s just it’s hard knowing my baby girl is grown up and now getting married.”
“Grissom I understand. I haven’t even told my parents that I’m a daddy. I haven’t actually talked to either of them for a long time.”
