I thought I read the Pritchard shows up dead and that's how the hunt for Warrck's killer heats up.

You read correctly. Thing is, how far does all this go? Is Pritchard the only one working for McKeen? Unlikely. And is McKeen at the top of it all? Could be, but who knows? Arrrrrgh! :scream: I need to stop thinking about this!

You could be right, that might have what led to Pritchard's death.
 
Let me just be the hundreth person to say, no, I don't think it's Nick. The posture is all wrong I think.

But, I've also read the spoiler about Pritchard's death heating up the trail for Warrick's killer. And as GSRLUVER pointed out, wire tapping would totally be the way to go. Although it is cliche, it would give the team the proper evidence they need to take him down.

Ugh. October 9th cant come soon enough...
 
Adding my 2 cents to the Nick-or-not-Nick discussion:

I don't think it's Nick either. The guy looks like he has a paunch! Eep! Not our Nicky then (sorry, I thought I'm in the Nick ward!). The stance looks kinda slouchy- definitely not Nick-ish either. In fact, the guy looks pretty relaxed considering that a guy is pointed at him! But maybe it's just that still, though. ITA on the arms too skinny point.

Also, it doesn't fit the spoilers we've heard so far: no news of McKeen pointing a guy at Nick, right?

Well George had a smidgen of a belly in season seven;) just a tad..but not a paunch..but a widdle smidgen..

But I sitll think it's Pritchard..and if it is..boy that McKeen gets around..I always thought he was a jerk..

I wonder if anybody else caught this but the person who calls Gedda from the station is in a dress shirt....Pritchard was a cop and wore blues...just wondered if there might be more dirty cops????

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that the person who called Gedda from the station was a DA or something to that effect.

Remember how at the end of For Gedda, Warrick was skeptical that Pritchard was the only bad cop? He was telling Grissom that there had to be people higher up and Grissom was pretty much saying "we have to take what we can get for now." So I think they've laid the groundwork for there to be a mole or whatever farther up the chain.

I'm also thinking the clip where Grissom and Brass are talking about the first one on the scene being the first suspect is in reference to McKeen. Brass looks sort of ... I don't know ... resigned ... and I'm guessing it's because he knows they can't get far investigating McKeen.

I'm so looking forward to seeing this story play out. It's really unusual for us to know "whodunnit" and have to watch the team figure it out ... the only exception that springs to mind is Killer.

I thought the same thing, about how the guy looks pretty relaxed. If it's not Pritchard, then it must be another mole...someone who knows him, otherwise I don't think he'd look so calm.
