Perhaps mysteriously and suddenly go missing for 48 hours then turning up with no memory of what happened to him.

I don't want him to have a memory loss. that's too soapy in my opinion. I'd rather he just have a case that gets to him like cases have gotten to Nick or maybe the vic turning out to be someone he knew back in high school (and yeah I know he went to school in a different state, I'm just saying for example).

Well George was working with a bad back.

However, I think this will be the status quo given he's the star and sadly, the network only cares about the stars of the show.

This is from the new TV Guide, May 11-17, I guess this is the proper place to post it, from a reader~

CSI CARAMBA!

When William Petersen left CSI, did he take the writers with him? We can't recognize the show anymore~ Filler scenes in a wrestling venue, Taylor Swift and a really poor Star Trek take off aren't what the show used to be. Bring back Catherine, drop the blond [Riley] and go back to crime stories~

Tom River, N.J.

I do somewhat agree with this:(

Where's the spoiler? Wouldn't this be better in the 'Still Missing Grissom' thread?

OK I'll post it there, I wasn't sure where to post this thank's for correcting my stupidty:rolleyes:

But this is about the SEASON FINALE *spoiler* same issue~and the writers "Risk Assessment" for long time favs .A brief description of the new guy, and will he change from his laid back personailty, and what's up next with him? and some of the episodes~

May 14, Biggest risk: Replacing William Petersen's beloved Gil Grissom with a new marquee star, Laurence Fishburne, as a novice CSI, from the world of academia. Did it pay off? Creatively, not yet, though the transition was smooth and did Gil justice. Just as Ray Langston is learning as he goes, so are we adjusting to a new team dynamic. If only Fishburne himself were more dynamic. Still waters run deep in this stubbornly stoic character. The upside is a broadened focus on the characters, like Nick or in the witty Star Trek parody episode, lab techs Hodges and Wendy. season average:6 out of 10~

Agreed.

But, back on topic, and I also agree about him losing his memory, not liking the idea. What next, an evil twin?!

I was aiming for sarcasm with the 'memory loss' thing. It was just a suggestion anyway.

I'd agree with that TV Guide excerpt, except for dropping Riley. I like her. Let's just drop the overload of Rayness.

I was going to complain about the season finale clip shown at the end of the show showing all Ray, but the extended clip is up now At CBS.com and it looks a lot better when you see this clip. :)

Well, it looks interesting, but yup, I'm gonna complain

I'm going to have to guess that Nick will barely be in this episode. We only saw a blip of him. :( Maybe his surgery was scheduled then.

It's nice to see the others will be in it and maybe all the others will have adequate screen time.

I just watched a better quality version of the extended promo and I think I found a mistake possibly.

The only clip of Nick in the promo looks like they lifted it from last night's episode. Can someone watch it and tell me if I'm crazy?

You're right, that was from the bar scene. I have a feeling that Nick isn't in the last episode, the finale. As sad as that would be for me,I know he had to have surgery, his health comes first!

I can't say for sure. He's wearing a black t-shirt & the same jacket. But like I said in the Ward how many black t-shirts does Nick own. And he does seem to prefer that jacket.

In the past few season I generally went with the less Nick I saw in the preview the more Nick I was seeing during the episode.

I can't believe they'll leave Nick out of the finale. I'll sit and watch it just for that reason. I pretty much mute out Langston's scenes anyways.
