Good thing E.T. isn't around to see this.
Henry Thomas has been cast as a convicted murderer in a May sweeps episode of CSI that delves into Catherine's (Marg Helgenberger) early days as a crime scene sleuth, sources confirm to me exclusively.
The 38-year-old actor will play Jeremy Kent, a killer that Catherine put away during her first solo case back in 1991. Now, after nearly two decades in prison, during which he learned everything he could about forensics, Thomas' character is calling her original findings into question.
Did Cath make a rookie mistake?! Will new technology exonerate E.T.'s BFF?! Is Thomas' 1984 masterpiece Cloak and Dagger the most underrated crime thriller ever? Don't know, probably, and damn straight it is!
Next week's not on cause of Basketball. Is it going to be off for the rest of March?
'"The Descent of Man" - Nick's case of a deceased skydiver takes an interesting turn when Catherine discovers there may be a connection between the skydiver and a mysterious double murder case, on CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, Thursday, April 9 (9:00-10:01 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Charisma Carpenter ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer") and Greg Germann ("Ally McBeal") guest star.

Love that we're gonna see another person from the Jossverse on CSI.
Being a Catherine fan, I'm definitely looking forward to watching this episode. Also, Marg and Henry have worked together on a TV movie called Happy Face Murders. Funny thing is they were two cop partners that managed to catch the serial killer in that one, and this time they're going to play opposites.I love Henry Thomas, or I did when he was still a kid. IMO CSI just keeps getting better.
