From Entertainment Weekly:

CSI
APRIL 3 · 9 PM · CBS
EPISODES LEFT: 6
WHERE WE LEFT OFF: Sara (Jorja Fox) inexplicably walked out on her job and Gil (William Petersen), while Warrick (Gary Dourdan) went toe-to-toe with a ruthless mobster-turned-club owner after a stripper showed up dead.
UP NEXT: As part of a writer-exchange program, Two and a Half Men exec producer Chuck Lorre is guest-scripting an April episode about a murdered sitcom diva. But in the first show back, exec producer Carol Mendelsohn playfully addresses the CSI team's absence during the strike by putting them on sick leave. ''They are all suffering from various stages of the flu,'' says Mendelsohn. ''Grissom is still home sick, so he has to get dragged out of bed to solve a case involving the death of a grand jury witness.'' Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) ends up going to Grissom's inner sanctum to talk about the case, and uses the visit to find answers about Sara's disappearance. ''By the end of the episode, the audience will have a better sense of where Sara and Grissom are with their relationship,'' promises Mendelsohn. It may just provide the cast with a little closure, too. ''We didn't have much time to get used to the idea of Jorja leaving, because soon after she left, we all shut down for the strike,'' says Eric Szmanda, who plays lab rat-turned-investigator Greg Sanders. ''That's one thing that will take a lot of time to get used to.'' —Lynette Rice

"playfully addresses the CSI team's absence during the strike"

That should read:

"playfully addresses the CSI team's absence during the strike and the return of Grissom's face fuzz"

I'm all for the fuzz.

Sara didn't help my position on GSR when she shaved it off during Fallen Idols.

But thankfully, now it's back!

WOW, RocketScientist amazing 'spoiler' news, and the awsome pictures, so this is Grissoms spot? and the GSR photo, their so young, 9 or 10 years ago, in San Francisco, I presume. cool, thank's for sharing:thumbsup:

I guess you've all seen the photos on http://csi.wetpaint.com/page/CSI+Spoilers
of the Grissom's Divine Comedy.

Well has anyone zoomed in on the photo of Cath in Grissom's apparetment in front of the refrigerator? One of the magnets is of 2 ladybirds humping!! Ha ha
See http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q30/rockeetscientist/csi3_a.jpg

They do have a great sense of humor!
Hahah! I actually laughed out loud at that.
And to purejoylove, I love your signature. :)

I'm so glad we finally get news about Grissom & Sara's relationship. :)

Hiya Destiny,

I thought Joja Fox had said on a TV interview that she Sara will come back "she just doesn't known when, and doesn't know how" or words to that effect.

Isn't that a legit spoiler?
We can then speculate what it all means!
Wave1.gif
Hiya, Yeah I saw that and thats the problem because its not known when, how, or what will be involved. To my knowledge there has been no script written up, or spoiler put out there with regards to it, therefore making it blind speculation. Who is to say that they will for sure get that in this season? I am sure they will probably try, but things can change and they may decide to hold off until season 9, something we just don't know at this time.

According to TalkCSI news:

Sara will NOT be back this season.

Sara is still out of the picture.
Earlier this season, Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) left CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after her character went through an emotional ordeal. Since Fox's exit, rumors have circulated about the possibility of Sara coming back. As CSI Files previously reported, Fox has promised to return to CSI in the future. It now seems that the character and actress will be missing until at least season nine.
CSI has six new episodes on tap, starting April 3, but Fox won't be in any of them. As Billy Masters recently reported on PrideSource, Fox confirmed that she won't be returning in season eight. Whether she will keep her promise and return in season nine--and beyond--is unknown at this point.
The "Ask Stacy" column on Creators.com was asked if Fox would be starring in a different television show post-CSI. According to the column, Fox is not planning to work on a regular series again for a while, although she is still open to guest starring on CSI. For now, fans will have to wait a while to find out when--and if--Sara will be coming back to Las Vegas.

Thank you, so now we know. Therefore there is no reason to continue discussing her return.

OK back to the topic of spoilers....

8x15 The Theory of Everything

The case(s) involves the death of two people, one female and one male.

One woman is shot, while someone is accused of redressing her and putting her in the back of his truck. Also a man who is drunk and being interrigated by Nick and Brass tries to escape and is pepper sprayed, officers then tazer him and he bursts into flames!!
Meanwhile a woman at the front desk tries to warn people (including Nick) of an alien invasion, this incident only fuels her belief.

Greg is mentioned as well as Grissom, Gris goes to a crime scene and Greg is there waiting for him.

thank you very much for clearing this up. i was wondering about it myself.

:)

NEW TV Guide on stands Fri. March 28! *spoiler* info. apparently Catherine is snooping in Grissom's apt. to find out the scoop on him and Sara, and hits "pay dirt" whatever that means:confused:

Hmmm...."pay dirt" could mean that she finds the pic and discovers that Grissom dated Sara when she was considered his pupil, which has always been frowned upon. It's not like it could get him in trouble now or that Cath would use it, but if someone had discovered it back then, it could have been great blackmail.

Anyone else have any theories?

Thanks desertwind!

Informal use - to discover a source of wealth, success, information etc.
In this case i gues it means Cath has a snoop and finds what she want's to know.

I think on the refrigerator, you can see a note that is from Sara (from the promo photos), maybe it's whatever is said on that note that gives Cath the info she was after!

Reading that TV guide article, makes me think more and more that they are using the rest of this season to lay ther foundations for Billy Petersen leaving the series.

Here's some promo's/commercials that have aired recently promoting CSI's return.:)

CSI starts April 3 promo
CSI promo
CSI promo

I think the first 2 are the same, but you can't have too much new CSI stuff when you're in withdrawal!

If you watched CSI Miami last night you might have seen the first one or something similar to it.
