*Walks in and reads, runs back and checks page/post one* Yep think we need a little itsy bitsy reminder. :p
This thread is for the discussions, opinions regarding the future "episodes, story-lines and character spoilers as it relates to the current season in the US." This thread has nothing to do with the actor/actresses themselves, ship discussions in general, or past episodes each of these have their own respective threads and or forum. Some comparisons to past eps is fine, as long as it follows the line of your current discussion but don't let it dominate.

Stay On Topic:
As it says there try to stay on topic of this thread, veering off happens and that is fine as long as it doesn't go overboard, if it does we will let you know.
The reason this is being quoted is because of complaints that its shifting into analyzing the show and what the actors want, and away from actual spoilers of episodes. - We would appreciate your cooporation in this matter.
Thanks. ;)

Found this on TVGuide.com about the writer's strike.
"We're scheduled to work until the 27th or 28th of November. Then we're done with scripted material," says CSI's Marg Helgenberger, noting that the episodes dealing with Warrick's drug usage are among those that will be seen.

I am new to this forum so please bear with me while I add my 2 cents worth, this is the first forum I have ever joined.

I was just wondering if anyone else has a sinking feeling about the direction this show is taking. This season the atmosphere of the show is different and the characters seem different. There doesn't seem to be the same bond between them, they all seem distant and rather sedate. The original premise of the show CSI seems to be fading away and now it is starting to focus on love interests.

How many besides myself are happy to finally be seeing one of the younger CSI's stepping up? I was thrilled to hear Nick would be taking more of a leadership role ( hopefully Warrick and Greg will also). I would love to see him evolve into a top CSI leader, but it now seems he is getting a love interest and I think we all know what that means, the leadership role will be put on the back burner and all of the shows will evolve around his lovelife not his CSI life, I feel it coming.

Plus there is supposed to be 2 lab rats get together and Greg is supposed to be getting a love interest and Adam Novack is coming back with a possible love interest for Catherine. I am not very happy with the direction at all. The show has for the most part been focused on forensics, science and crime. This season we are getting little of that and soon it sounds as if the shows will be focusing on the love interests of all the characters. By the time each episode gets done dealing with all the love interests there will be no time for the original premise of the show CSI.

I want to see Nick as a leader not a lover(not that I wouldn't love to see him shirtless, he can just stand there by himself and take his shirt off and I would be happy).

I wish they would do what Nick has said many times about his personal life and keep it private. Not that I am against any love but that is not what this show is all about and that is not why I watch.

Lets get back to the good old days, I think we need a break from all the love interest stuff after GSR and the Warrick fiasco. Lets get back to CSI.

I agree with you. CSI is supposed to be a Crime Drama not a Sope Opera.

I was really hoping beyond hope that the stuff about Warrick's drug problem would be dropped. It's got me really sad and freaked out, but I guess I have to deal. I always have a habit of picking the least liked characters as my favorite.

I stopped reading spoilers for a while though, because I found out about the whole Warrick thing through them and it crushed me. Oh well.

I think, in the end, this might be good for his character so I'm going to just hold out hope that that's the case.

I'm glad that I'll get to see it though because I was worried I'd have to wait a really long time and that I'd never know for certain what was going on.

Just who is this audience that the producers and writers think they're satisfying?? Not me, that's for sure! Not one of my friends or co-workers who watch the show thinks this whole plot line is good. They're losing a lot of fans with this soap opera crap. :(

I'm assuming (we all know what that means) that we won't have to see the writers switch with "Two and Galf Men"? Anybody remember when they said the writers would trade shows?

If Warrick has to go down in flames, at least he gets a story line that doesn't involved kidnapping (Nick/Sara) or explosion/beating up (Greg). I'd really like a Brass-centric episode that doesn't involve Ellie.

Why does Hodges get more lines than the other boys?

I just hope next week's ep we have a better mix of seeing our CSI's and the lab rats, unlike last year's Lab Rat ep which was pretty much all them and very little of the CSI's.

Hodges game looked like it had pieces that looked like the CSI's. I wonder if there will be a Sara piece?

Did anyone see the CTV promo? Was it different than the US? Is it on youtube yet?

I thought they are so busy and have so many cases and overtime and they have time to play a game...ugh...

For Christmas I want the board game...

I just checked Youtube, and it's not there. I actually don't recall seeing a promo on CTV last night...I think they showed ER and then Grey's. Maybe they didn't have it ready yet?

Yes, the CTV preview is always different than the CBS one, so I'll keep looking.

Maybe it's not on youtube because of the writer's strike. How many eps. do they have left to show before they run out because of the writers strike.

I still wanna know Hodges ulterior motive behind this "simulation" setup he got on the go, to get all the lab involved......you know he has to be up to something :p
