This isnt a spoiler, its just my opinion.
I personally think they will kill Sara off after the first three episodes or something.. cause she wouldnt be able to work with gris cause of their relationship.
I was watching an episode the other day, I think it was series 3? When the CSI guys were trying to put a famous guy in prison and Sara at the time was dating Hank (where she had to move the bra as it had been moved by hank). Someone asked her in court if she had a previous relationship with grissom, and they couldnt take her seriously, or the evidence seriously because of that
So if Sara does stay alive, she wont be able to work with grissom.. so where does that put her?

I don't understand how people can still think Sara is going to get killed off. I mean, if she was going to die, wouldn't it be smart to do it in the premiere? But no, she's going to survive in the first episode, get back to work in the third, and then she's going to die. Yeah, that's smart.
Sara could decide to leave the lab if she isn't happy working there anymore. That IS possible.
But dying after episode 3? No, THAT is not possible.

I agree that Sara is not going to die, if Jorja leaves CSI they will have Sara leave the city (or transfer her) but they won't kill her off.

so let me get this straight...

to make the GSR storyline more subtle they plan to break up the team, so we get less character interaction, and another season of Catherine and Grissom not working together?? HOW THE HELL IS THAT MORE SUBTLE!?? That just makes me more angry at GSR, its ruining the whole show! Not too mention Catherine is getting punished because Grissom broke the rules, but no the MAN can't get in trouble, he gets to sleep around with a younger woman and gets away with it. I have ZERO respect for Grissom now...I hope Cath gives him hell for this, he deserves it. But since they are pretty much not allowed to talk to each other because of GSR, I doubt it will happen. They can't just pretend everyone is ok with it, since both Nick and Catherine (didn't warrick also say something too?) already voiced strong opinions against office relationships.

I can't decide which is worse, the without a trace crossover, that girl returning from season 6 (I HATED that eppy...) or breaking up the team. And I really don't like how Warrick is only there too fill in their minority quota, he had some good eppys, lets see some more of him.

I don't think there's a need for people to jump to conclusions about the team split. It may even be for just one episode. Who knows? And if it isn't just for one episode, lets not forget the fact that in season 5 the team still worked together every now and then. And Grissom and Catherine even had drinks together (with Brass of course). So we can't really say there was no interaction between the characters.
I do agree with the fact that, if the team split is really happening, and Catherine isn't happy with the new changes, it is wrong for her to pay for Grissom's "mistakes". But if I remember correctly, Catherine enjoyed being swing shift's supervisor and she wasn't very happy with the fact that she had to go back to night shift. She showed that in one of the first episodes of season 6 (can't remember which one), when she talked to Grissom on the phone ("I'm not a pervert", loved that sentence).
So I think, if Catherine didn't change her mind about being supervisor (she could have realized she didn't really enjoy it), she may even like this change. She may not like the circumstances, but she'll like being the boss again. Only now, she'll have Sara (I think) and the new girl. She won't have the boys. And that would make any woman sad. Not being able to have those asses to look at as they leave a room.

Besides, the team split is more speculation than fact. Let's try to not get upset by something that may not even happen. I suggest we wait and see.

Um, who says she will get back to work? She could be in a coma or in hospital for three episodes, then dies in hospital.
No one knows, so you cant back down anyones theories. ;)

No one knows for sure, its just an opinion. :D

Actually, I believe it was on this site that someone (I think it was wojo and if it wasn't I apologize) said that there's a scene between Sara and the new girl, so unless Sara talks with Vivian while she's in a coma, I guess Sara survives and is back at work.
I'm not backing down anyone's theories, I'm just saying that I don't understand them, considering what we already know from spoilers.
Still, you can keep your opinion, I'm not gonna fault you for that. :)

Nah, Sara is my fave character, and I dont want her to die.
But I am just thinking of all possibilities so I am prepared and ready, just incase she does die. :lol:

Well, I suspected you at least liked Sara, considering your avatar. She's my favorite character too.
In case you haven't seen it, the spoiler about the scene between Sara and Vivian is in page 16 and it was wojo who provided the information. Thanks, btw :D

I think it's a fairly well-done promo for not using anything new. I mean, the "My God" was from the scene when Gris realizes Natalie was at the crime scene... the rest of it was just nice flashes and good editing to put together a pretty kickin' promo.

Just looking at it from that angle, the theatricality of it all, it's a really well-done promo... Especially compared with a lot of the stuff that they've put out as promos over the years.

This one told a story without slamming everything at us, and I like how they were honest with us by saying "Could" take one of the CSI's lives.

"Victim" in all the finale promos last year could imply almost anything as far as extent of injuries, etc. I like that this promo was upfront and honest and didn't promise we'd see carnage. Should be interesting.

Also, it gave a great forensics feel to it. We know the who. We know what. We even know why. Usually CSI's use the bodies and the scenes to ascertain all that information, but in the season premiere, according to this promo, they're working in reverse. I love that. I absolutely love that.

Yes, we can argue until we die that they did the same thing in "Grave Danger." Yeah, they did. But, I think the way they've handled the first half of this two-parter with the emphasis on Crazy Girl was perfectly done to set it apart from Grave Danger.

I've said it in the GSR thread, but I guess I'll say it here since it's not shippy at ALL and purely speculation:

I would love for them to find that car in the desert and find Sara is gone. And, all their searching for Jane Doe's at local hospitals would be futile because she has her jacket on... So they at least know her last name is Sidle, or can assume it is... and they find her at the hospital.

I just think it'd be great for everyone to be rushing to the scene, ready to save the day, only to find she's already been saved. I don't know why that tickles me so much, but it really does, and would really help separate it from "Grave Danger."

And I'll stop before I write a novel! :)
