8.01 - "Indelible"

Back in a few...

eta: Here's what we know so far...

~ For those in doubt, everyone is back. That includes Mac, Jo, Lindsay, Danny, Flack, Hawkes, Adam and Sid.

~ Can't figure out the case details too much but it seems an attempted robbery at a bar turns fatal.

~ The episode features scenes that brings viewers to Mac's past. Mac meets up with a fire chief who also lost someone on 9/11. It appears Mac now works at a lab that tests DNA from 9/11. If you remember the ending of "Blink" this episode kind of goes there at the end.

~ It appears there's a new recurring character named Hannah.

~ Jo now has Mac's office.

~ The team is minus one during the investigation: Mac. It's unclear whether he joins back in this episode or not, but at the end of the investigation Jo, Danny, Lindsay (who shares a kiss with Danny), and Adam are the only ones working together.

So if Mac is working at another lab during this episode who is in charge at the crime lab? Jo?

Additional info about 8.01:

~ Danny is referred to as Sgt Messer, so he definitely took the promotion - not sure how that will work out with his team interaction, but he's working the case with them in the premiere, so I don't think we'll be seeing any less of him. (Fingers crossed!)

~ It appears that several months have passed since the finale.

~ The team plans to attend a ceremony for a project Mac has been working on for the past few months - the project relates to 9/11 victims.​

Wow didn't see that one coming. I'm all for Jo being the boss but of course I know that'll be only for a short while, or will it?? They shook things up a little bit, I like that.

I'm glad they're not just dropping the storyline. Hopefully they'll let it play out for a while, too. Danny miraculously healing over such a short time span in season six still bugs me.

I'm glad Danny didn't turn down the promotion because he couldn't stand to be away from Lindsay. I would've had to choke a bitch if that had happened. :shifty: Although it sounds like they're going to be shoe horning in as much DL as they can if the premiere is any indication.
