I enjoyed AJ's interview, although he seriously better be joking there at the end. I can imagine the reaction about the Twilight thing...are any of them decent actors? I don't know because I haven't seen the movies. But I bet it wouldn't go over well.

Is it true that Season 8 will only have 18 episodes?

Its been picked up for 18, but that doesn't really mean anything. The NCIS' are usually picked up for 22 and are then extended to 24/25. I think that means there will be 18 for sure, but it could get more episodes.

Let's hope the ratings get higher this fall so the 18 will become 22. Looks like the final season. If so, CBS should hype season 8 as last so that the lost fans can check out the show again, unless the network just wants to make room for new shows next spring.

Anyway, I'm against more Adam in the field as well as Adam with a gun. The show has so many CSIs now. I don't think adding him will be a good idea.

8.02 "Keep It Real" - I'll be back with more info

    ETA: OK, here we go:
    8.02 "Keep It Real":

~ A young man named Michael winds up dead on the floor of his apartment, and his girlfriend Miranda is distraught. She was there when he was shot, but she didn't see the killer, and Michael wasn't able to tell her who it was before he died.

~ Michael and Miranda have only known each other for a few weeks. They met at the vintage music store where she works. Michael and his roommate Josh were arguing over music, and Miranda joined the conversation. She and Michael hit it off immediately. She admired a vintage guitar hanging nearby, which had a $1500 price tag. She couldn't afford it, but Michael pulled the money together to get it for her.

Now for some non-case related things of interest!

~ Mac is back in the lab! That didn't take long.

~ Danny and Lindsay have at least one personal scene, and we see how they're adjusting to Danny's promotion.

~ Jo's son Tyler is back! I don't see much, but I know he and his mom discuss his new roommate.

I'm guessing Mac took a leave of absence or something like that so it is easy to explain why he's back.

Great, so now that Danny has been promoted are we going to have to suffer through DL "personal" scenes in every damn episode? :shifty:

Well, I'm looking forward to the scene. Did it give any details about it?

^^ Just that they're still getting used to the change, but they seem fine.

No! :( That's horrible! I was hoping the 9/11 story would run for a few episodes, at least. Mainly because I wanted to see Jo in the boss' chair for an extended amount of time. I don't like it when CSIs get promoted, then demoted again for no reason (like when Catherine got made "Supervisor" during Season 5 and had her own team, then as soon as Grissom said he wanted her back on his, she was demoted and transferred back), I wonder what this means for Detective Danville?

    Pompidom...

I wonder why the writers would introduce Tyler's roommate. Maybe something is going to happen to one of them.

Personally, I think it would be interesting if his roommate was his ~~~roommate, but I doubt they'll go there.

The roommate will probably get into drugs/trouble/the Wrong Crowd and bite the dust before Christmas, prompting Tyler to angst - and allowing Jo to remind us that she's a badass mom. :adore:

(That's purely speculation, of course. All I know is that Tyler has a new roommate, and Jo asks about him.)
