What is the status on Sofia (LL)?? Wasn't she considered part of the main cast last year, yet above in the info Destiny posted (beginning of thread), it says she's a reoccurring cast member. Is she not going to be around as often this season, or am I just confusing myself yet again?

It's been brought up the reason for the name of the episode and how it might reflect on Sara's fate. But maybe its not her fate but the "Dolls". Take in the two eps Season seven was "Living Doll" in which we learn a motor of sorts allows the doll to move showing that she was at that point still alive, in the season 8 opener the motor of that may die and therefore so will the doll.
Now I know folks are thinking BUT Destiny the doll represents Sara. While this is true, it also may signify how long she has, a certain amount of Battery power equals a certain amount of time, in Nat's eyes 3 hrs of battery could equal 2 days of survival time. Take in the weather conditions and all that... Its just a theory.
As to Louise my theory is this, she was orginially thought to be getting her own show, it was either cancelled or canned (meaning it could be picked up later if the network wants to). She could have also asked to be put to recurring status so that she had more time for her family, CSI and anyother projects she might want to do. Lets wait an see what happens by no later then the middle of the season, should know alot more by then.

The show is back! These months went by ever so fast, and we are finally approached with: will she or won't she?
If she does live, I'm just hoping it is done in a good way. Great writing, good directing, etc. Same with if she dies: I want some good drama, but not over the top.

I agree with you vegaslights. Whether she lives or dies, it has to be in a really good way. It has to be dramatic and not just "oh hey, she's alive" or "oh no, she's dead." It has to be awesome. I honestly can't see her dying... but maybe they'll shock us.

Maybe instead of being physically maimed she will have to deal with emotional scars from the experience. She could have to take time off. She might work for awhile than decide she can't do it anymore. I just hope they don't have her go back to normal , because she wouldn't be the same person after an experience like that.

AHHH, but she is in the S/8 promo pic. go to the pic thread and you'll see her! too many clues that she'll be back, she's been everywhere with the cast all summer, and I don't think she'd give up this wonderful gig on CSI, so I'm positive she will return, or another theory is that it's always been in Natalies fired brain,[the fake slit throat of Grissom] and she never did anything to Sara, in last nights finale "I didn't kill Sara" she said, and that she's stashed somewhere & with Grissom holding his face, could be intrepreted, cause she's not under the car! and he doesn't know where she is! time will tell
