I don't see anything wrong with this casting choice. She's an attractive older woman, brown eyes, brown hair - what did you all expect - J-Lo!?!? :wtf:

I can actually see her playing the part, though I did imagine someone with darker skin, however Marisol didn't exactly look Cuban to me either.
Whatever - I think she makes a nice choice to play Eric's Mom. That is until I see her act. ;)

and the lady that plays her, her real name is Adriana which is the name of Calleigh and Eric's daughter's in my fanfic lol

I don't really have a problem with her playing Eric's mother, I just figured she'd be more....latino looking. She looks more Italian than Latino to me. But whatever, as long as she does a good job!

In my opinion, Adriana Barraza is the perfect choice to play Eric's mother. Age, background, looks; it all fits. She'll be great.

Anyway she's not too strange, but seriously, considering that his father is a Russian, we don't know who the guy is, maybe the famous Ivan will be his father at the end of the episode (correct me if I'm wrong, but I've never seen a Russian person with a darker skin) & that Eric has a darker skin I'm wondering whether her mother cheated on the father with a Cuban:lol:

I think that the kiss is just a sort of flashback with the woman.
Definetely the guy has hair, something our dear Eric hasn't got. In this case I highly doubt they show Calleigh kissing someone (who knows, Jake???) especially in this episode.

I definitely think the woman in the kissing scene was Teri Polo. I could be wrong, but it kind of looked like her. If it was somehow a Calleigh/Jake flashback, giving that the guy's hair was so much shorter than Jake's as we've seen him, then it could be a flashback Calleigh has of Jake from when they were in the academy together. But, still I think it was Teri Polo in the kissing scene rather than Calleigh.
 
I don't mind Eric's mom so much. Even if neither parent has skin the same color as Eric that doesn't mean much in latin countries. I'm from Puerto Rico and see it all the time and Cuba is not much different.

I think that bringing Eric's mom (who I think we should've met a long time ago with all that's happened to Eric) will be interesting. I've always wanted to see how their relationship is and even better if we see her interact with other members of the team.

Of course they put the people in some crazy red color so we can't tell who it is at all... I never even noticed that part when it first aired! I bet it's the blonde chick and the dude Horatio poked.

Or Calleigh and Ryan, whatever you prefer! lol! That would probably never happen.

Unless Ryan is the father of the baby. So it's blonde chick and Ryan..hmmm.........

Edit: no no! I just looked at it again and I think it's the the guy at the end holding the blonde chick back while she's screeching. They have the same hairline.

Am I the only one who thinks that Eric Delko has more GSWs, scars than hair on his head??? Poor guy, he is like groviera:lol:
 
Thanks DuquesneDelko, it'll be nice to see some one on one time between Horatio and Eric. We haven't really seen H interacting personally with the team in a while.
