Season 7 *Spoiler Lab* Discussion & Posting - Part 4

*reads all the spiolers so far and groans* oh god not again. I was watching an interview with Anthoy Zuker (can't spell) before they made GD and he said 'well we never go into the big,dramatic season finalals' well NOW THEY DO :mad: the thing that made GD so amazing was that CSI had never done anything like that before and now its just too much they're trying to re-create the buzz from GD and they'll just end up failing misserubly.

I'm not Sara's biggest fan but neither do I hate her, I think that the whole cast just fits so I care about all of them but serioulsy if they continue down this 'someone must be hurt every finale' its getting to the point were we wont care no matter what happens.

Why does this episode have to be a mini movie? Why can't the writters take all the material from the spiolers so far and turn it into something like, they find the Miniture killer (YAY i'm glad thats happening actually) sara mysteriously dissapers and griss and the team are worried GSR then comes out into the open (coz Griss thinks somethings happened to sara) but the whole thing is kept very quiet and not OMG THEY'RE A COUPLE DUN DUN DUN and then it turns out that actually sara's fine, she just went to get a coffe or something or AT WORST she gets tazered by MCSK and then left in the parking lot so she wakes up later a bit sore but other wise fine.

Can't it just be soemthing like that rather than all out Hollywood muck :confused:

Never disagree with a board moderator, right? Well, in this case I do. Looking at the past and how those episodes were put together often gives a clue as to what a spoiler will look like. Some series use the "overlap this season to next season" system, where a cliff hanger is created in the final episode that is only resolved at the start of next year. For the most part, CSI has been pretty good about tying up loose ends in the finale, which is likely a good indication that the season ender will resolve / close out any number of story arcs.

But, as the theory goes, your sandbox, your sand.
 
We don't mind if past eps are discussed in correlation of future eps, we just don't want them to dominate. If it looks like its starting to do that we step in back it up and revert it back. ;)
 
Well I hope the spoilers are false, or if they are true and GSR is out in the open...I can't see how it will survive...JMHO! Anyone sick of of the finale being about Sara?

Season 4: She was pulled over and lucky she didn't get a DWI... Grissom comes to her rescue? :rolleyes:

Season 6: GSR finally comes out of the closet. :rolleyes:

Season 7: Sara is kidnapped :eek: :rolleyes: yawns.... GSR is revealed...oh yeah.
 
omgoodness.... i am so mad that this is a sara-certic season finale. this thing has already happened to nick! you can't make something tragic and crazy like that happen again. that's not realy life. and as for GSR... i'm really hoping that the finale will break them up. i dunno if it will but, they are to similar. they would never last in real life and that's what i thought CSI was about.... making it look like real life!? come on CSI... get back to what really matters and give us back the characters that we all loved in the beginning!!

what's the next episode after the lab rats? is it ANOTHER personal episode?
 
After Lab Rats, it's 7x21 "Ending Happy" I don't know who is working the case, but I don't think it's personal at all.

Then 7x22 Leapin' Lizards; where we see all the CSIs.

7x23 "The Good, The Bad, The dominatrix" Sara and Catherine work the case, while Grissom stands by the hospital side of his..... friend.

Then the finale.

So, I don't think there are any more personal episodes until the finale.

ETA: Confirmed over at YTDAW the reason Sara begins to leave for SF is because of family.
 
ok, that's good. well, "The Good, The Bad, The dominatrix" will probably be personal for Grissom. haha... love lady heather:p sensing you dont gsrLOVE :lol:.

i'm hoping sara and nick get a case together! haha :D
 
Well, as far as I heard on "Leapin' Lizards" Nick wrestles a pig, and Sara is reminded of why she became a Vegetarian.. So it could be safe to assume that they are working a case together (Or they all are together).

Hehe, I do like Lady Heather. She's an interesting character. I just like to reassure myself that she's Grissom's friend :lol:
 
Also in "Leapin' Lizards", Greg gets bitten by a suspect when trying to take her DNA. Apparently she's hallucinating and sees Greg as a lizard (Greg actully turns into a lizard in her eyes!).Sounds like a fun episode. And Nick herding pigs just the thought of that makes me laugh. I am looking forward to this one.
The finale -not so much.

Crap. The ONE Thursday night I requested off it's a repeat. :mad: Oh well...the way things are shaping up...I WANT to work the night of the finale...

I have to respond to this. And, I'm the biggest Sara fan you'll ever find, but I do not think we've ever had a CSI season finale ABOUT Sara. The season 4 finale was about the brutal case, about the horrible rapes and murders... not about Sara. Sure, she had a little two minute tag where she nearly got a DUI, but that's 2 out of 44 minutes...

Season 6's GSR reveal was less than a minute. If I remember correctly, it was 59 seconds. Even if you count the camera fliration and the comment about wasps, that's just another two minutes, or so. That's 3 minutes out of 44. Not a whole finale about Sara.

This season's finale might be a bit about Sara, and I'm actually excited about that since I think she misses out sometimes in the drama department. We know tons about Catherine. We've been through a LOT of roughness with Nick. Greg has had the best continuous storyline in years with his whole arc... I've always considered Warrick and Sara to be underused. So, now we're getting a finale with some Sara, and I'm rather excited. It's been a great season, in my opinion, and I'm glad to see my girl get something to do.

And you have a right to feel the way you do, but quite honestly I'm ready for a change...one not revolving around Sara getting hurt. :rolleyes: Or any of the CSI in general. Maybe I should have worded my post better before...but just like Catherine...we see plenty of Sara's drama. Sara and her problems with alcohol...the way she covered it, the fact that she got a light tap on her wrist when she got caught TWICE. Or the fact that she has always had a crush on Grissom. Or the violence she witnessed as a child. I personally wish for a fresh season finale...and not one revolving around GSR. Or the ending resulting in something with Sara. Regardless, maybe GSR wasn't the whole point of the season finale for season 6 but it was the ending. Which is enough already...I just don't want another finale regarding GSR...but it looks like it will be GSR anyways...so all I can do is hope for the best regarding GSR being out in the open.

Funny enough, I think once that happens, things will chill out in the GSR department. I think keeping it secret for one season was fine, but it needs to come out in the finale, and everyone will be in on it, and hopefully they'll find a way of dealing with it next year that makes sense within the team.

My vote would be for Sara to stay on the team, and Grissom to teach at UNLV, but be brought in quite often to work cases, because, after all, he's a freakin' genius. Cath would take over the team, and I honestly think season 7 Cath as a team leader was better than season 5. So, bring it on.
