I'm really curious to see what that's all about. I hope it's not what it sounds like. :(

Episode 7.19 of CSI:NY will be called "Food For Thought"
Yep! I'll be back in a bit with more info. :)

ETA:
7.19 "Food For Thought":

~ Meanwhile, it looks like something is up with Hawkes. At one point in the episode, Danny tells Hawkes that they all have to take drug tests - he doesn't know why, but he's just following orders. Hawkes seems nervous about something. (Sorry, I don't know anything more than that. :()
It was only a matter of time before they made an episode about the food truck craze. And yay for evidence that Hawkes and Camille are dating - I was a bit worried it might be a one-off thing. I'm not sure how I feel about the possibility of Hawkes worrying about a drug test, though...

Finally something happening with Harper's (always so boring) character. Maybe that spices things up a bit especially if he is caught taking drugs or something

Warrick had drug problems on CSI. I believe the same thing happened with Eric on Miami. Drug addictions happen with white people too, TPTB!

Maybe Hawkes has been using Viagra since getting together with Camille. ;) He's a bit embarrassed and doesn't want the team to know. (Unlikely, but would insert a bit of comedy into the scenario.)

:p

:guffaw:I love it :guffaw:viagra, hey it could happen! I can't imagine Hawkes doing other drugs though. It would defintely make for a humourous spin on things.

Yeah, the one non white guy in the cast seeming to worry about an impending drug test is more than a bit :wtf: and .

ITA! Why do TIICs always have to be so stereotypical? Didn't they do this same crap with Warrick and Eric. Hello lot's of white people have drug problems to PTB.

I'm hoping that Hawkes may have medical problems that he doesn't want the team to know about.

I just remembered that Hawkes' deceased sister had drug problems. I really am hoping they go a different route with this one and the spoilers are misleading. Although, the Viagra scenario would be hilarious. And I like the medical condition idea too.

Yeah me too. There's no need for Sheldon to have a drug problem just because his sister had them. I'm hoping this is something Hill can showcase his acting skills with, I would really like it to be a medical issue that he wanted no one to know about.

Eric didn't actually have a drug problem. He was buying them for his cancer-stricken sister and he sat with her while she smoked it, and breathed in some of it and it got in his system that way and made a test come positive (Horatio called it "passive exposure" I believe). Also to be fair, Calleigh popped positive on a drug test one time [from breathing in stuff at a crime scene]. Also, Calleigh's father is an alcoholic ... and wasn't Horatio's son's mother Julia also on drugs at one point? Oh and Horatio's brother Ray, whom I believe also was said to have a drug problem if I recall. Sure that isn't main characters, but still.

I don't think Hawkes will have a drug problem. I think it'll more than likely be that he's on some kind of medication that he's worried will make a test come up positive.

Thanks, perl. :)

TV Guide just posted some casting news as well:

Former Vampire Diaries actor Taylor Kinney will guest-star on CSI: NY, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

See photo of Kinney on Vampire Diaries

And Kinney, who played Diaries werewolf Mason Lockwood, hasn't lost his murderous instinct. He will play Jayson Luck, who attacks and kills someone he believes to be an old man on a subway platform.

Unfortunately for Jayson, the crime is witnessed by Ellie, the daughter of Sela Ward's Jo.

Besides his work on Vampire Diaries, Kinney, 29, starred as EMT Glenn Morrison on NBC's short-lived Trauma. His other TV credits include guest roles on Bones and What About Brian.

CSI: NY
airs on Fridays at 9/8c on CBS. Kinney's episode is slated to air in April.

Does this casting news make you howl with excitement?

Damn. If they had to cast someone from Trauma, why couldn't it have been Kevin Rankin?! *pouts*

Oh well, I'm going to pretend they're holding out for a recurring role for Kevin. ;)
