I just watched OF MICE AND MEN again last night. What an absolutely stunning film this is. The scenery, the landscape, the capturing of that era, just beautiful. Not to mention the acting was amazing, and oh yes, there is that fact that of Mr Sinise looking so incredibly handsome as usual did not hurt either. Gary needs to get back in that director's chair soon. As much as I love our Mac, I want him back in a movie too. Oh, and I cannot wait until it is time for me to get an icon here!LOL Too many hottt Gary pics to choose one from, though....whatever shall I do?
Good, the ratings were up this week. (I wish I could figure out what it is that makes a million more people tune in one week but not the week before - this week's preview didn't make it look that special...) 6.04 "Dead Reckoning": From PI Feedback
Maybe it was the spoilers? From spoilers, we knew it was the episode with the Hawkes pep talk, but I have one question, was this hinted in the preview?
Nice to see the increase in ratings. It looks like CM's ratings stayed about the same compared to last week, so maybe a million (+/-) of its viewers decided to stick around this week and watch CSI: NY instead of doing something else.
Sorry for the double post. I just came across the finals for last night's NY: From TV By the Numbers Up in total viewers but down a little bit in the key demo.
Does that means ny went top of miami this week yeah NY 13008 MIAMI 12065 the franchise growing up and I like that:thumbsup:
Not quite - here are Miami's final ratings: "CSI: Miami - 13.163 million viewers - 8.5/14 HH - 3.9/10 A18-49" So Miami (narrowly?) beat NY. The ratings I use for the news articles on CSI Files (and when I post in here the day after the new episodes) are the fast nationals/overnight ratings. The finals are a bit more accurate - and usually a bit higher for the CSI shows.
6.06 "It Happened to Me": From PI Feedback, as usual. Given that it was up against the final game of the World Series, I'm not really concerned about those numbers - my guess is the show will get a bigger bump with live +7 day DVR ratings than usual. Plus CBS has the show available online. So yeah, the ratings were down, but it's hard to say how it would have done without the baseball game.
Ratings were up for the crossover episode - hopefully the show can keep some of those viewers going into next week and beyond. Overall, the show came in behind the CMA Awards, but that's not surprising - awards shows tend to do that. 6.07 "Hammer Down": From PI Feedback
Wow, that's a huge jump in 18-49! And viewers, too. Looks like the crossover did boost CSI: NY--let's hope it holds true next week.
I believe it was the highest ratings for the show since the premiere - I definitely hope some of those viewers stick around next week.
