Season 5 Wishlist

Most of what i would have said has been said by everyone being mainly:

- DL... sort it properly or get rid of it
- Less Mac 'centric' stuff... I get being the lead it does focus on him but an example would be the finale when we barely got a chance for anyone else, maybe have a few quiet episodes for him. Or more scenes with Reed that is a side of Mac i enjoy.
- Stop making it like everyone knows everything specially Mac, he is not a specialist in everything and they make it out like he is. Hawkes he is a genius its understandable he knows random facts and stuff like that Mac, it just makes the "super" mac image a little to much.
- Gadgets i love them but some really... choose the right situation the CT scanner in the Bank was for me to much.
- Continuity...Most of the stuff has been covered on this
- Stellas male interests do need sorting

generally i think they need to give everyone a chance to shine. develop them more and show than Lindsay doesn't need Danny to function and can be her own character. I love NY most for the character storylines but sometimes its just frustrating.

And yeah a LV/NY crossover would be pretty cool to see.
 
Well, i was going to post this inside the "Dear writers" threads but someone read my mind and open this instead :D

I would like:

-SMACked scenes, all kind, all sorts, tender, sweet,angry, professional, personal, kinky..whatever!:devil: Season 4 had memorable scenes like that one at the jazz club after the "dear John" letter:drool::drool::drool: I'll feel satisfied as long as we get similar scenes than S4 or S1:drool:

-No romances for nor Stella neither Mac except if they want to have a romance between each other:lol::drool::drool::drool:

-More Stella episodes. Pretty unfair just ONE episode in Season 4. We need more of her. Also we need Rambo Stella and Pissy Stella. I agree with you Kay!!! I want the catfight with Quinn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:devil::devil::devil::devil::guffaw:

-Stell needs a female buddy. Give her a girl friend! Re built Lindsay, or give a chance to Angell of being her closest female friend but do something about that;)

-Stell needs to be in charge and i want an episode with sparks between Mac and Stell because of professional issues like in Officer Blue:thumbsup:

-Lindsay needs to be re written. Give her a new personality and a new love (Hawkes could work;) After RND i feel i could like them together;)

-If Quinn is going to be around give the oportunity to love her or hate her. Make her spicy (in special related to Stella. I do want that catfight:devil:

-I'm extremely popular here every time i talk about Danny:lol: Please STOP the Danny Drama Show:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: Give a chance to shine to Flack, Sheldon and Adam. I have enough of his behaviour for the next 3 years i think

-More Reed PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! He is so interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want more Mac-Reed interaction and i WOULD LOVE to see interation between Reed and Stell:bolian: They are Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:bolian:

-Action was perfect in Season 4. We need more of that in S5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup:

-I would like more "Female Power" in S5. More Stell, Lindsey, Angell and even Quinn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

-More Sid-Mac interations please!:lol:

-More Stella-Flack scenes as well Flack -Mac scenes:drool::drool::drool::drool:

-More serial killers:thumbsup:
-A crossover with Miami o Las vegas. I'd love to see Horatio and Stell together or the chemistry between Stella and Cath!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup:

-More Angel-Flack scenes. They are so adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When Angel saved Flack was like when Stell saved Mac in Season 1. !!!!!!!!!!!!! i love them!!!!!!!

What do I want to see in season five? I'd really love to see an episode that blows me away. The "Child's Play" episode--at least the part with Ruben's death--did that, because it's a really dark place for the show to go. Vegas goes to dark places and comes up a winner more times than not. I'd like to see an episode like that.

Danny is far and away the most complex, interesting character on this show. We saw in this season how truly fucked up he is. Obviously, Ruben's death and his guilt over that, played a big part in that, but I think there's more to the story. I get why he went after Rikki rather than reporting her and was so gutted by Ruben's death. But I want to know what it was that made Danny think he can use sex to fix things. And why he only seems interested in Lindsay when she's being a bitch to him. I want to know what Danny's damage is--what happened to him back in childhood or whenever to make him so desperate to please, even in--no, especially in unhealthy situations. So that's what I want in season five most of all: to find out what Danny's damage is.

I love Flack. He's my other favorite thing about this show. In fact, my real wish would be for a Danny and Flack spin-off show where the two could wisecrack and solve crimes together all day, but I'm a realist so I'll just say I'd like to see more Flack. I want to see him in action more--not just chasing people and tackling them, but emotionally invested in the cases, like he was in "Consequences" and "All in the Family." Flack always gets involved when Danny's in danger, so go ahead and tie Danny to a few more train tracks and get under Flack's skin. I love it when Flack is riled up.

Hawkes needs an episode like "Trapped" or "Hostage" where it's all about him and a situation that needs solving. Maybe something medical? I bet that could be a great hour of television. Even better--have Hawkes and Danny in a building collapse, and Hawkes has to perform triage on Danny and also figure out who's responsible for the collapse. Danny's unconscious, so he can't steal Hawkes' thunder. Flack can freak out, and boom! dream episode. :lol: ;)

Stella is awesome, and I was so happy to see that she wasn't made into a victim this season (I don't count the arson, because it wasn't like she was targeted specifically). I'd love to see Mac go away for a while and for Stella to lead the team. I think she'd do a kickass job of it--possibly even better than Mac. ;)

Adam needs an episode, too. I'd love to see a "Lab Rats" type episode with Adam, driven completely by him. I think it would be great.

I kinda miss the days in season two where it felt like Mac was in the background. :lol: I think he needs a woman to make him tolerable. :lol: He was at his best when he was with Peyton last season. I loved episodes like "Comes Around" that showed him in a less than flattering light--that realism really appealed to me, and I like it when he's not so perfect. More of that perhaps?

Lindsay still needs to go, but if not, I wish that someone would just acknowledge Anna Belknap's limitations as an actress and stick to the light stuff with Lindsay, and the investigations. I don't really care if D/L ends or not anymore, but I'd love to see what a heinous person Lindsay is acknowledged and for someone to point out what a selfish person she is.

My season 5 wishlist:
Very short sweet and to the point.

- More DL *dodges random objects*

- Less Danny and Stella drama..more Lindsay*ducks*, Hawkes, Flack drama.

- Reed helping.

- Mac in tight black t-shirts. :D What was that episode Corporate Ninjas? (excuse my lack of episode name knowledge :p) Bring that shirt back.

- Mac and Adam going back into Second Life..again. That was funny.

- More Adam.

1. More humour! especially between Sid and Mac or Adam and Mac! :lol:

2. More characters personal life , like problems, happy moments etc..

3. Mac, that he's wearing something else as a suit! cause he's looking much hotter when he's not wearing a suit! :D

4. More Flack's great humour!:guffaw:

5. Maybe new romances..."Mac and someone?" :thumbsup:

-Learn more about Mac's time in the Marines, his childhood, family etc.

I agree with the majority of what you said, although I think if TPTB incoporate everything you said about Mac, I don't think there would be time for what you listed for everyone else.:lol: In saying that, I know he is your favorite character so I don't blame you for wanting to get everything you can for him which brings me to my question: Are you of the opinion that Flack shouldn't be in Season 5? He is my favorite character and that is just wrong, wrong, wrong.;)

I want lots of Flack in season 5! Less Flack or no Flack would indeed be wrong. Besides Mac, he's the character I'd most like to see developed. I'd really like a strong Flack storyline, and I'm dying to learn more about his past.
As for the Mac stuff, I'd love to see all that happen over the next few seasons, not just in s5.;)
 
Ah, a season 5 wishlist... There are so many things I would like to see, and so many other things I've grown used to or given up on ever seeing. :lol:

I'm used to the lack of grit and the unrealistically middle class, affluent suspects and victims and the over the top episodes. To be honest, I think I'm OK with it, and I'm not sure I'd want them to change it too much. Yes, of course it would be nice to get some more diversity on the show, and to see the focus shift occassionally to the other boroughs. But I'd really like to see a focus on good storytelling, excellent episodes that really make me think, and anything that gives me some emotional connection and sympathy for the victims. I don't really care how they do it, as long as they do...

This was something I was thinking about the other night (when I was bored and imagining some ideal storylines that I would like to see). :lol: I think Adam can definitely pull off an episode of his own, and more Adam is always good. I'd love to see more Adam and Sid interaction in particular.

If I could have my ideal episode I think it would be Flack-centric (surprise!). :lol: What I'd really be interested to see would be something different, and imagining for a moment that the title of the show didn't include 'CSI' I would love to see an entire case from Flack's point of view. I'd love to see what it is that the Detective does, from the start of the case, interacting with the CSI's at the crime scene, tracking down suspects and getting the bad guy. I think that would be pretty cool, and make for a different but interesting episode. We would get to see what it's like from the other side, and of course more Flack would make me very happy. :D

Also, thinking about episodes like LV's 'Jackpot', I'd love to see something where the CSI's actually rely on their genuine skills and knowledge as scientists, improvising to collect and analyse their evidence. I think Hawkes could be really good at that, but Mac and Stella would be pretty awesome too. In fact any of them. Also, as with 'Jackpot', seeing them out of their comfort zone, maybe travelling somewhere else would be interesting. Of course, we can't seem to particularly get them into boroughs other than Manhattan, so I doubt they'll go far, plus them working elsewhere is a difficult sell, as they wouldn't have any jurisdiction. ;)

Other wishlist items for season 5:

  • More personal interaction between our characters, but not in the bedroom. I'm talking about having a drink together, eating lunch, some suggestions that they do actually talk to each other outside of work.
  • Sid! I'd love to meet his daughter, or anything that gives us something of Sid outside of the morgue.
  • A more stable emotional state for all. A bit of pain and distress is good, too much is overkill... and depressing.
  • Hawkes. Any way, shape or form, but more than just 'being there', give him something to do.
  • Lindsay. Something, anything that isn't Danny or 'taking a rain walk'. Maybe giving her a b-story to work with, just her working it. Show us that there is something more to her character and that she has something useful and purposeful to add to the show. It would either work or being truly awful, but I'd still like to see it being explored. If that doesn't work then give her something light, or a small lab role.

1. promo pictures. which means more then one. of the team, of them alone. I mean, none of them seems camera shy and they all look pretty awesome, so - where is the problem?
2. less personal drama. I like seeing more of who the characters are but there is enough drama with the cases, I really dont need any more on personal level. especially since the writers dont handle it very well
3. less or no Angell. I cant stand the girl. I really tried but the more I see the less I like her
4. no more SuperMac. we know he is awesome but why the hell has he a whole team of people when at the end it is him who saves the day. I would actually like to see an episode without Mac - like he is ill or on a conference or something
5. more interaction between Sid, Adam & the rest of the team.
6. please, please, please shed light on the DL thing. I want to know, not guess or interpret
7. more Reed. I like the boy and he makes Mac look more human
 
A lot of people seem interested in seeing Stella lead the lab for a while. I think that would be awesome (and poor Mac deserves a break) but if Stella did be head of the lab for a ep or a few eps, she really should stop with the low-cut tops for that ep or eps. If she's doing a press conference or talking to the mayor's office or whatever, she really needs to dress professionally and not have her boobs on display.

I just realized I missed Flack out on my earlier post (slaps self, as I love Flack) Here's what I'd like for Flack:

-Give him a decent storyline that has him show some real emotion other than snark, and has him be the one in trouble/with a problem rather than being everyone else's 'shoulder to cry on'. Also, a story that would reveal some real flaws in his character like all the others have would be good. Flaws make chracters more real.

-Have him identify and show compassion for a victim/case or even a suspect who is not a cop.

-More interaction with Danny, Mac, and Stella.

-More Flack/Angell flirting (or Flack's adorable attempts at it anyway)

-More Action!Flack with the slapping of bad guys, wearing of Kevlar, running and shooting of guns.

-More Pissy!Flack with scumbag suspects.

-More of Flack's life outside the lab. Like that ep where we saw him with that YMCA basketball team.

-Have a storyline about Flack's family. I would especially like to know about Daddy Flack and why Flack can't go home (he said so in...Time's Up, I think)

General Stuff
-Gritty/dark storylines every now and again.
-Use the other 4 NYC boroughs.
-More diversity in victims/suspects.
-Make NYC a character, like it was in s1.
-Use of outside experts like the Homeland guy in Hostage.
 
I would love to see

  • More of the gang socialling together.
  • More D/L - they left everything in the air
  • bring back some of the humour.
  • Less of Quinn - not to sure what I make of her.
  • No strikes so we get a full season.

What I'd like to see for each character:

Danny: Oh, God, they've got their work cut out on this one. Not just Louie, but his whole freaking family. I mean, he said in Tanglewood that all the Tanglewood Boys had fathers who were connected. Later, we discover Louie was a Tanglewood Boy. Transitive property deducts that Danny has a connected family, so stop trying to dig for drama when ya got THAT goldmine right at your feet. A wonderful stroyline to me, one that I think would salvage Danny's character, would be having Danny's past catch up to him and making him choose between his family and his career. That might actually restore the Mac and Danny mentorship to it's former glory.

Lindsay: Give her a personality. She has the potential to be a great character if they would just let her resolve her own problems for once. And as for DL, just clean up the mess and call it a day. Try again in two seasons.

Flack: Like I think everyone has said, I wanna meet Flackie Sr. and the rest of his family. I've heard promising things about next season. However, they should be careful: lil' sister storylines are VERY hit and miss, and personally, I don't think the powers that be are at 100%. I just really don't want them to rip apart Flack's character the way they did poor Danny. I also want more Danny and Flack interaction, which I'm also optimistic about!

Hawkes: COME ON!!!! Give us SOMETHING!!! He has the potential to be such an interesting character. I want to see him interact with Danny a lot more, too, and not just because I'm biased. He and Danny have a lot of similarities that I think are too skimmed over. They both worked hard all their lives to make something of themselves and ended up changing their career choices into something totally different than what they originally hoped for, but are still happy and proud to be where they are. Just MORE, people!

Mac: Reed, definitely, but no romance/love interest, please. PLEASE. And bring back his Teacher!Mac. I think his role as a mentor (especially to Danny) was downplayed a lot recently and that was one of the reasons I started watching the show. I'd hate to see it lose that.

Stella: It seems like they either give her no storyline to follow at all, or one so angsty and out there that the viewers almost immediately tire of it. Not everything has to be so over the top. I'd like to see a more typical, everyday, believable type of drama for her. Melina can definitely play anything they throw at her, so I have faith for this character.

Adam: YES, more of that adorkable leprachaun from Phoenix! He has major potential and AJ Buckley can definitely deliver.

For the show in general, I'd like to see more resolution with the storylines, a lot less of the 'let's leave it at that' attitude that the powers that be have become so fond of.

I'd like to see more of that too. It could be the whole team, like at the end of Heroes, or just pairs, like Mac and Stella in Recycling, or Danny and Flack in Comes Around and Personal Foul.
 
Right there are lots of things I would looove to see.

1. Adam based stories! I love him! He's gorge and has a sense of humour! (Sorry Danny you're being overtaken as my fav!)

2. Hello?! Where's Louie? Alive or dead? Come on guys! Us fans need loose ends tied up! Seriously? Has he been in a coma all this time? :mad:

3. Give up on the Drama Llama! It is never going to go anywhere! Give Danny a better girl who will not treat badly and give Lindsay a b/f who will not ever be seen in the series!

4. More Adam!

5. Flack! Come on! Very important! He needs his own character driven episode!

6. Bring back Peyton! Give Mac some love!

7. Adam!

8. Reed needs to be in the next series A LOT! Especially the Reed and Mac relationship. With him in the series we should know more about Claire! She's the only one who Mac truely loved!

9. Adam! (Have I said enough?)

10. Bring back Chad! Has everyone forgotten him?

Oh i can think of a few things.

-A little romance between Mac and Stella maybe (at least something in the last episode of the season indicating that it is going that direction!)

-Maybe something or someone reminds them of Aiden?!?(It was like she dissapeard after s2e23, and yes i know she died, but as far as i remember they dont mention her even once entire season 3 and 4?)

-More Adam! I love his weird comment's, just more more more!

-They really need to give Hawkes a life outside the lab, when i read about CSI:NY it says that Mac and Stella are the workaholics, but they have more life outside the lab than Hawkes?

-More Hawkes and Sid together, they are awsome, they both have a creepy collection of tid-bit info.

-Then i want Lindsay back, through season 4 she has changed so much in the wrong direction!

-We need so much more Danny and Flack humor! Cant live without it

i bet i think of so much more later but thats it for now
