I was wondering when we'd see Reed again. *happy dance* That's the spoiler news I've been waiting to hear!

That sounds very interesting. And I think Mac's involvement in this case all depends on whether Reed is a suspect, a possible other victim or just an innocent by stander.

Or perhaps Reed will ask him to work on the case to find his friend's murderer. And in that case I think Mac shouldn't be handling it; his need to win Reed's trust could cloud his judgement.

Do we know yet which ep this is gonna happen?

^ OK txs. The spoiler about Reed only said an upcoming ep and not which one. #15 That's the ep where Nelly Furtado has a guest role in, right?

Considering Mac absolutely reamed Hawkes out when Hawkes 'connection' was that he knew the victim for all of one hour, I'd say it would be non-ethical of Mac not to step down if Reed was involved whichever way. But then, Mac has already proven himself not to be the most ethical guy that he appears to be

I can't see him stepping down. When Danny was a suspect in RSRD that didn't stop the team from working that case or when he was a suspect in On The Job. They worked Stella's case in All Access. There's probably more...so I was surprised when they wouldn't let them work Sheldon's case.

^ Yes there's no consistency there whatsoever.

I remember being surprised they were allowed to work the case in 'On the Job'. And VERY surprised they continued to work on Stella's case in 'All Access'. I thought, ethically, they would not have been allowed. Or don't CSI's have to follow a Code of Ethics?

I thought that Mac tellings Hawkes to step down from the case was foreshadowing to Lindsay's secret..but maybe that is just me. Because remember Mac said something to Lindsay in that episode like "I want you to stay and listen" when he was pulling Hawkes off the case...
Like I thought episode 12 Lindsay was going to say something like "I can't work this case.." But we never got that scene..

This isn't the thread to debate why people like or dislike Lindsay, so let's table that discussion. Suffice it to say, some are unhappy about her absence, and others can't wait to see her go.

The spoilers for episode 17 look great! I want to know who's in danger, though. :p Danny is the show's damsel-in-distress, but if we're finding out more about Hammerback, maybe it's him...

Yay for the return on Reed! :D

Don't know anything about Danny and Angell getting it together. I'm all for Danny and Lindsey though.

Does NY have a spoiler pic thread? I saw some of Mac and Reed over on LJ but don't see a thread here. Thanks.
