More info on this episode from Margamania:

"12.10

Judy is the attractive wife of Dr. Robbins (Robert David Hall), the Medical Examiner, and she's up to her eyes in trouble. Though she and Robbins appear to have a very happy marriage, Judy calls 911 to report a dead man (professional genealogist Mr. Traxler) in her bed -- and the corpse is both naked and smeared with her lipstick. Judy is adamant in her assertion that she was NOT having an affair and that she has NO idea how Traxler was killed and NO idea how his body got itself naked and into her bed. Assumed to be a flagrant liar and an adulteress, Judy in fact is telling the rock-solid truth."

From Ausiello:

Question: What can you tell us about CSI‘s replacement for Marg Helgenberger? Will they replace her? —Holly
Ausiello: They will replace her. And it will be with a name actress. In other CSI news, we’re finally going to meet Doc’s wife Judy, but it will be under the most scandalous of circumstances. Mrs. Robbins wakes up one morning to discover a dean man in her bed — a naked dead man who just so happens to be covered in her lipstick! She swears it’s not what it looks like, to which I promptly roll my eyes and go, “Mmmhmmm.”

From CSI Files

Daniel Novotny:

CSI Files: In terms of upcoming sets, what are you working on?

Novotny: Two words: bullets & lasers. You’ll have to watch CBS at 10pm on Wednesday nights to find out.

Christopher Barbour:

CSI Files: What’s the next episode you’ll be writing?

Barbour: I’m actually writing Episode Eleven with Don McGill and that is episode two of what I think is being coined by Joe Pokaski as a ‘Willowlogy.’ They’re not airing in sequential order; there’s three episodes that deal with the arc of Marg leaving. Episode Nine is that and Episode Eleven continues it. We start shooting eleven next week.

From our own CSI Files:

As CSI Files previously reported, Elisabeth Shue will be joining the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after the departure of Marg Helgenberger (Catherine Willows). CSI Files can now exclusively reveal whom Shue will be playing.

Shue will play the role of Julie “Finn” Finlay, a former colleague of DB Russell’s (Ted Danson) from Seattle, sources tell CSI Files. Finlay is smart, tough, competitive, with razor sharp wit and instincts to match, as well as true heart and compassion, the new CSI also struggles with “brutal honesty issues” and suffers no fools.

CSI is currently in production on this season’s twelfth episode, “Willows In The Wind,” which will see the departure of Catherine Willows. Production on Shue’s first episode commences in early January and will premiere on February 15, 2012.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation 12.13 "Tressed To Kill"

Thanks to Blackflag and Micha for posting these! :)

Brianna Brown (General Hospital) will appear in an upcoming episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI Files has learned exclusively. Spoilers after the jump!
Sources tell CSI Files Brown will appear on this season’s thirteenth episode, which is titled “Tressed to Kill.” In the episode, which finds the CSI team investigating a series of murders by a serial killer, the actress will portray the role of Paula. Beautiful, vulnerable, and sympathetic, Paula is one of eleven women who’ve unwittingly had a swath of her hair cut. While at first the victim is nervous when giving a statement to the police, she is quickly put at ease by DB Russell (Ted Danson).

From our own CSI Files:

CSI Files: At the beginning of the season it was said Nick (George Eads) would play a pivotal role in Catherine’s exit. Is that being shifted a bit–is DB Russell (Ted Danson) stepping up in that role?
Pokaski: I think everyone plays a pretty big role. The scene we shot [Wednesday]… the episodes kind of focus on how Catherine is touched by everyone. So Nick plays a pivotal role, as does Russell. We didn’t know who the actor was when we started breaking the story. I think it’s fair to say pretty much everyone does, especially Nick and Sara who’ve been around.
