I don't think I really want to see a musical CSI. Nope, not even as a labrats episode.

Just seems wrong, but, hey, I could be wrong.

I mean wouldn't that be considered 'jumping the shark'? :shifty:

I'm still holding out hope for a Glee/CSI crossover..

Maybe Nick will be Puck's father.;)

LOL!

I'm not fond of triangles either, probably from so much time in the Buffy fandom....the whole Angel/SPike/Buffy thing was enough triangle for me. I'm comfier without it on CSI.

Or should we say "We don't need it turning into CSI Miami"?

Sorry, no offense to any Miami fans, but I had to say it. That one is quite soapy at times lately.

Me either, I only watch New York and LV. I still want to cross regular CSI and CSI NY in a way that isn't just Ray going to NY.

Anyway, to get serious, I do agree a musical would be hard to pull off...CSI doesn't have easy ways like Buffy did to explain the singing. And it's easy to have it come off as cheesy and ridiculous.

I am curious if any of the new crop of dramas will last long enough to end up crossing...interesting that so many are procedurals/police-related. (Blue Bloods might not be so bad, although perhaps more for NY than Vegas)

From ew.com:

I just finished watching CSI and loved Ted Danson’s character. When are we going to learn more about him? — A.J.
Well, I can tell you the second episode of this season is just as good as the first! And next week, we’ll get a chance to see more Russell’s unique form of crime solving comes in handy after a seemingly simply (and very grizzly) case takes an incredibly complicated turn. There’s also great interaction between Russell and Catherine, who is increasingly fraying at the edges, at the end that I think you’ll enjoy.

Omg, if it is anything like the Nick/Cath scene from Wednesday, I say HELL TO THE YES.

Can't wait. =)
