Caitlin looks like she's 16

They can't find someone in her 30s?

She's pretty, though. Will see how the chemistry is, but really does the woman always have to be like 20 years younger.

Nick would be 40 this year.

Hollywood. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yeah, she looks even younger than Morgan lol. I'm hoping its not an actual date and just a favor he's doing for Doc, looking after her and all, showing her around town (we all know spoiler descriptions can be a tad bit misleading sometimes lol). TPTB know what happened with fans last time they had Nick flirting with someone too young (the waitress who now plays Jessica on True Blood)... well, this girl looks even younger than the waitress! She is pretty, but she still looks almost young enough to be his daughter! I'm hoping she's only in this one episode and never seen again because Nick needs someone closer to HIS OWN AGE. Hear that, ptb?
Might I remind you that Monika is around 12 years younger than George. (according to Speedy's post over in Texan Charm! :D) And I believe part of our conversation was about girls maturing faster than boys. And Believe me she doesn't look anything like 16 year olds around here! I'm just happy they aren't trying another red head.

Personally I don't think anybody would be 'the right one' to the fans. We all have our own idea of Nick's 'perfect' girlfriend. That's why I wish they'd stop trying to and put more effert into the cases.

Yeah, I know. It's just that the CSI shows are notorious for putting the lead guys with much much younger women. Horatio and Marisol for example. She looked almost young enough to be his daughter LOL. It's just annoying in shows when they constantly do this.

Laurence Fishburne was at the Emmys last night, and he did the whole red carpet thing prior to the big popularity contest. Here's what he had to say about leaving CSI:

The intent was to do it as well as I could. After two and a half years I did all I could.

I saw that bit. To be honest though I tuned him out and just stared at his wife.

Hmm... does that sound kind of like he's saying that he didn't like the way they were writing his character? Cause that's kind of the vibe I get from that comment.

Ever since the news came out that LF was leaving CSI, this was one of my thoughts. How could he go back to being a 'regular' CSI, helping to solve the crime of the week after what he just went through character-wise? Where was the challenge in that? He took Ray Langston as far as he could. Anything after killing Haskell would be anti-climactic at best.

Did tptb suggest an age or an estimate age for Morgan? Or how long she's been working? It may have been mentioned at some point in the recent past...if that is the case, I missed it. I am guessing around about the same age, give or take a few years either way, as Greg??
I think all the characters seem to be 3 years younger than the actors portraying them so Morgan will be around 28. The youngest of the team by far except for Greg.

I don't know; maybe he's just saying that he put all of his effort into portraying Ray Langston for the past two and a half years and feels ready to move on.

Yeah, I don't see any ill will in his statement. I think he gave it his best shot.
For me, at least, he wasn't an actor who could sustain my interest week after week, year after year. My initial impression when he started was that he should have been hired as a new character with a strong season long arc (which would have been right for the Haskell storyline), and not as a 'new lead' to replace WP. I stand by that feeling. TV stardom is just different than movie stardom. Ted Danson has what it takes to sustain a TV show character; he's a proven comodity. Hopefully, he will continue his fortunes on CSI; and LF will probably continue to be successful on the big screen.

That's true for most of them, except for Greg. He is supposed to be the same age as Eric (unless they changed his age like they changed Nick's birth month lol), so he's 36. Greg's bday is in May whereas Eric's is in July, but the year of birth for both is 1975. And Brass seems to be a few years older than Paul. Here are the original character birthdates (original cast) along with the actors' bdays:

Nick - August 18th, 1971 - George - Mar 1, 1967
Grissom - August 17th, 1956 - Billy - Feb 21, 1953
Catherine - March 26th, 1963 - Marg - Nov 16, 1958
Warrick - Oct 10th, 1971 - Gary- Dec 11, 1966
Sara - Sept 16th, 1971 - Jorja - July 7, 1968
Brass - Jan 2nd, 1951 - Paul- July 6, 1955
Greg - May 7th, 1975 - Eric - July 24, 1975
Doc Robbins - Jan 19th, 1953 - Robert - Nov 9, 1947
Anyone know what month is now Nick's birthday according to "Turn Turn Turn"? I can't remember. Is it October?

I would say March 5th since that is the date Turn, Turn, Turn aired. When they use dates in an episode they usually try to make it the expected airdate.

GNRF, Thanks for that info!
It's good to see it all in one place, without having to look it up it myself

So "Catherine" is my age

He did every thing he could but it wasn't good enough so he was cut loose...IMO

I tend to agree with this too.

Actually it's seen to be February 9, when Nick gets his message from Grissom, there's a brief shot of the date on his phone. TV.com confirms it as well. (I catch all kinds of details like that, maybe I should be a CSI too. xD )

It appears Greg gets blown up on his birthday as well. (The events of Play With Fire take place on May 7, 2003.)

Tbh, I've always seen the characters as a few years younger than the actors who portray them, and whereas I'm pretty sure TPTB indicated when their birthdays were, the fact they can't decide on Nick's makes me disregard them. Looking at Greg from Season 11, he doesn't look anywhere near 35-36, although saying that, none of the characters look close to the actor's actual age.

Slight change of topic, but does anyone know how many episodes have been commissioned for this season? Are we expecting the usual 23-24 episodes are will we be getting slightly less? (Even though it was 22 episodes, I still feel that Season 11 felt a lot shorter than others.)
