Welcome to the Season 12 Spoiler Lab Part 2! Part 1 can be found here. Just like all of the other Spoiler Labs, Smokey & DJRideout ask that you read, remember, and respect the following regarding this thread.

This thread is for the discussion of spoilers regarding future episodes, story-lines, and characters as they relate to the current season in the US. This thread has nothing to do with the actors/actresses themselves, ship discussions in general, or past episodes. Each of these have their own respective threads and/or forums. Some comparison to past episodes is fine as long as it follows the line of your current discussion, but don't let it dominate.

What Should I Know About Spoilers?

  • Not needed! The warning is already in the thread title. You may discuss freely here. :)
Copyrights, Sites, & Pictures:

  • Posting a spoiler word for word is not allowed. We ask that you put it in a short summary of your own words. Otherwise, you can just post a short description and then link to the site for the rest (as long as it's not one of the sites we are not allowed to link to...see below).
  • Some places prefer that you not link to them for the spoilers. You are not allowed to mention or link to places such as SpoilerTV. You are also not allowed to link to or mention casting sides, and do not quote any portions of scripts here. Copyright violations will be edited and or removed.
  • Spoiler pictures should be placed in the spoiler picture thread, not here.
Shipper Discussion:

  • Shipper discussion is allowed in this thread only as it pertains to a particular episode/spoiler. All other ship discussion should be done in the Shipper Central forum.

  • If there is already a discussion thread up for an episode, please discuss that episode in that thread, as this is for future episodes. This thread is for Las Vegas spoilers only. Any Spoilers for Miami or New York belong in their respective forums.

Thread 2 already? Vegas seems to go through spoiler discussion threads a lot faster than the "Miami" and "NY" boards :p

as GregNickRyanFan said on the previous thread (I'd quote it but I'm not sure how to cross-thread-quote, maybe one day I shall learn) I can see Catherine teaching a class on forensics somewhere, however I'm kind of hoping she gets her casino, and rides off into the sunset with Lindsey and Vartann :)

The way I do it is right click the quote button on the post I want to quote and open it in another tab on the browser, then I copy it and paste it into the new thread. :)

I too am hoping Cath's finale will end with her moving in with Vartann or something like that. I want to see Vartann and Lindsey interact though.
 
A few days ago, I asked Kay Panabaker on twitter if there was a chance for her to come back for Marg's final season. She said she hadn't heard from the CSI Powers That Be yet. However, they've only begun shooting for the season, so I'm hoping she will soon hear from them.
 
Oh good grief I was gone a whole week and they released the motherload of spoilers :lol: but oh well I'm not complaining I love getting some spoilers :)

YAY!! :hugegrin: Can't wait to see Grissom again, as for those freaking out about GSR, as I recall most liked TTMG and they'll probably just have a few brief scenes so relax ;)

And I'm sure they'll make sure it's about Catherine, not about Grissom returning, GSR, or anything, again kinda like TTMG where it was more about Sara not necessarily about Grissom or GSR, some of it yeah

Also I'd say Grissom will be interacting with Brass, especially if and when he finds out about what Brass has done

^ I think Lindsey and Lily should return one last time before Catherine leaves, and of course Vartllows have a happy ending :):) I imagine we'll see Vartann more this season since Paul took a smaller role this year

Ted isn't to blame for Marg leaving, she's been thinking about it for awhile now, since season 8 and was orginally gonna leave last season

Nice clip with Nick, D.B. and Emmitt :) *continues to wave her 'I Want Greg Spoilers Flag'*

Nick's fetal pig...D.B. had better not get Grisom's old office or really Catherine's either, though I guess if D.B. gets Catherine's office, then she'll have to move into Nick, Greg, and Sara's office so that could explain the fetal pig getting moved
 
I think, if anything, the hiring of Ted Danson was an incentive for Marg to stay on longer. Have you guys seen the photos of them together? It looks like they enjoy working together.

Also, stay tuned to CSIFiles.com on Monday. You may find a nice little interview posted...

Found this little tidbit over at EW:

I'm totally digging the clip of Ted Danson on CSI. Would love some scoop on his character! -- Maggie
Well, during the panel, the EP's talked a little bit about D.B. Russell's "van-schooled" past, but on the carpet, CSI vet Robert David Hall told me that despite Russell's obvious skills, the former head of the Portland, Ore. crime unit doesn't quite fall into the team seamlessly. "We're cordial but a little suspicious," Hall said. "[His character] is very different than Billy Petersen's and Laurence Fishburne's."

I would hope his character would be different from WP or LF since he is neither one of them....;)
 
So he's back to being from Portland again?! There's a big difference between Seattle and Portland, and I'm not talking about the mileage on I-5. It rains more in Portland! :lol:

I'm greatly looking forward to new interviews! After the initial shock wore off, I'm really o.k. with them bringing T.D. on the show. I'm thinking I'm going to like him, and it looks like he and Nick will have a good repoire, based on that initial video clip. Of course, Nick gets along with everybody given a chance, so that's not surprising. ;)
 
We're already on part 2 for the S12 SLD thread? Wow, it seems like only yesterday we were starting pt.1 and no one knew about T.D. yet. Good memories...

I don't think Sara even has an office unless she moved into Riley's old spot, but the fetal pig has to stay in Grissom's office or it loses it's meaning. It would be hilarious to have a scene with T.D. moving into GG's old office and Hodges comes in and refuses to move the fetal pig.

To expand on your thought, sharp, Marg's been on the show for over a decade. Most actors will do something for 4 or 5 years before calling it quits and moving on to something else. I have nothing but respect for the fact that M has lasted as long as she has with Catherine Willows and I respect the fact that's she leaving. It sucks but hopefully she'll be written off in a way that's not cliche. Emphasis on hopefully.

When's the last time there was a Greg spoiler? Umm...it's been awhile. Hmm, maybe Eric should do a crazy hairstyle? That has to be worth a spoiler alert of some kind.
