Why won't CBS just confirm the whole Grissom thing already?

And I, of course, would love any GSR I can get, and I know mom will be happy if he comes back too.

I think his hair might be a bit darker this season from one photo I did see of him in July. :p That's the most I know. Otherwise I am starting to wonder if he really is back this season?! :(

Maybe WP doesn't want them too, kinda like with TTMG

PS That said, I do hope the GSR doesn't overshadow Catherine's leaving...I would like a nice goodbye, but hopefully nobody's unhappy when it's done.
 
I'm sure it won't overshadow Marg's exit, Billy was the one who pushed for an ensemble back in the day, so I don't think he'd come back and steal the thunder, so to speak.

CSI's season 12 premiere date is so only 1 month 14 days away! Anyway I hopefully that WP's return to the CSI for only briefly screentime like they did with Jorja back in season 10, however I gotta agree with you guys with WP's return and GSR story wouldn't dare to overshadow Marg's imminent leaving the show. I'm curious has the CBS started airing the Promos for CSI season 12 yet? I think probably soon or so.

Maybe WP hasn't agreed to show up yet. I wouldn't be surprised if tptb releases details about Grissom's return a couple of months before the episode is slated to come on.
I'm curious has the CBS started airing the Promos for CSI season 12 yet? I think probably soon or so.

I haven't seen any promos on YT released by CBS yet. A lot of shows don't start putting up official promos until early September so I'm sure CSI will have something up by then.

Yeah I think its likely that CBS will post the CSI season 12 promos end of August before September like they do with previously promos in past.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what William Petersen was making when he played Grissom? I'd be interested in knowing how different it was from what LF was making and what Danson is making.

I believe he was making $500,000 per ep, not sure how much he makes being a producer
