Season 11 "Spoiler Lab" Discussion

Great new and thank's vegaslights what's strange is I subscribe to this magazine, and in my issues, there's NOTHING, at all about this:confused: I hope it's true though;)

Probably because it was revealed today and EW did not have this information when they went to publishing earlier this week.

I got the impression that they're not bringing Liz back at all, not even a cameo. More than likely they'll do something similar to Riley and say "Wendy accepted a job offer in Phoenix or Los Angeles or wherever". Probably have a few episodes (at least one) of a melancholy Hodges as well. But I don't think Wendy's departure will relate to whatever is going to happen in "Blow".

though my first thought at reading the 11.01 title was indeed an exploding lab with Wendy in it (and probably more) I have to admit your impression is more adequate..by reading other posts concerning the handling of non returning characters it lies definitely more in the line of expectation..

*sigh* I guess it's time for me to accept the more than likely possibility that the "famous" new creative direction means a direction without the old fashioned lab rats :(...(for so far as I know..not any mentioning of a returning Hodges... the already confirmed Wendy exit ... no mentioning (I could be wrong in this one though) of super dave)

If it makes you feel better, I highly doubt that Super Dave would be let go. David Berman (along with Jon Wellner, AKA Henry Andrews) works behind the scenes as head researcher for the show.

As for Hodges, I'm not sure if his contract was up like the others.

Since the media seems to run with their own version of a 'don't ask don't tell' policy write a letter to Ausiello and ask him about Wally.

I think that Paul actually signed before George since they said when George signed that Jorja was the only one left. Nobody asked about him so they didn't tell us when it happened. If Wally's contract was actually up (and I'm not sure it was) it could be the same way with him. As I keep telling the children - the only way to get your answer is to ask someone who may know the answer! :)

CSI can not be the same without Brass .LOVE that he is back!!;)And I really liked Sara last season. She gave a sense of family that was missing.

Glad that Paul is back, Brass is such a fun character. As for Jorja I can take her or leave her but having her back is not a bad thing. I hope there is a lot of cases for her to work with Greg, that's when I like her best. Those two enjoy working together (Both the characters and the actors).

Blow may refer to explosives or drugs - probably both.

Well...after The Panty Sniffer, I'm prepared for anything.

Now, I'm really curious as to who they cast in the role of the new girl?? With CBS' moving The Big Bang Theory and Sh!t My Dad Says in place of Survivor, they will probably try to appeal to some of the younger geeks that will watch these comedies. If that's the case, someone like Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Gallactica or Emile de Ravin from Lost would be a really good choice.

I agree. By the time she left in season 8, I hated her.. but when she returned, she was much better. I like her working with Greg and Nick best. She's a good female character - one who can get down and dirty stripping cars and stuff with the guys, which we don't see Catherine doing as often.

I hope they don't blow Wendy up - they've already done "blowing up the DNA tech" once. Plus, it would be nice to see some sort of continuation of her relationship with Hodges off-screen. I actually like the off-screen relationships the best - the coroners both drop mentions of their wives, but we've never actually seen them and it doesn't impact the show that much. While it's nice to see the characters having lives outside of work, the show is about their work.

Well, if they want to appeal to the young geek demographic (of which I like to include myself) than I personally vote for the casting of one Kristen Bell.

Not gonna happen, but a boy can dream...

 Yeah, that's not gonna happen, but it would be cool.

They could also go the Heroes route and get someone like Ali Larter or Brea Grant.

Or, if they go for bargain basement prices, there is an actress who is now out of work with the cancellation of As the World Turn who I personally think could be the next big thing with a break like CSI - Ewa Da Cruz!

I know for a fact that several people asked both Ausiello and TVGuide more than once about Paul's contract and never got a response other than the mention with Jorja's deal. Maybe that's why Ausiello finally mentioned Paul's status--to shut us up. :) However, I think if Wally hasn't signed on, you'd definitely hear about it.

With this new creative direction and going cheap they probably cast Lindsey Lohan. She could play herself and blow up the lab after trying to cook up some meth.... :guffaw::guffaw:
