Season 11 "Spoiler Lab" Discussion Part 2

Does that mean we have to deal with a whole trial about him? I liked the Nate Haskell storyline at first but now I think they are carrying it out too long. :(

I agree. He's already supposed to be serving what, 2 consecutive life sentences? Why give him the added attention of another trial? He was a great creepy bad guy at first, but it's kind of getting annoying how much trouble he can stir up when he's already in prison.

I agree completely! Sometimes great things become less great when they are overused. Haskell is one of those things as far as I'm concerned.
I couldn't agree more. And since he will evidently be representing himself, more grandstanding of a deranged serial killer. UGH. I'm completely put off by all this. Let's move on, please.

Yeah I like Haskell and all but couldn't it wait til later, I want to see McKeen's trial please and thank you, of course I guess we would need Griss for that since he found Warrick and he died in his arms but I also thought Sara would be at Natalie's trial in Woulda Coulda Shoulda

The Dino ep sounds interesting, I'm hoping for some good Greg time or something since he had that dinosaur toy in The Grave Shift :)

First sharp I love your Greg icon.. so cute,:p and I as priorly stated don't think they'll drag this out too long with Haskall, too many other interesting stories to tell and talk about "moving on" here's another article about a few different topics. Dr. Langstons wife, [can't wait to see her] Haskall, & Sara and only 11 episodes, out of what 23? so they'll probably explain this with She's in "Paris".. again.. and that Carol Mendelsohn, HASN'T been successful in luring William Petersen back. WOW, what a surprise:rolleyes: [he's in New York making a movie, and has said for two years "he's done"] But I love the new CSI, and how TPTB have moved in a "new direction" and are not going backwards. BTW it's the 3rd story down~

Teenie Bopper Movie guy is hogging so much of the promo pics etc, it's a bit annoying, wish there was more material of the main stars who have been around for longer if not since the beginning. Still not too thrilled about Langston's character, doubt I ever will, so really not too eager to see his cliffhanger resolved. All in All, quite possibly the least enthusiastic I've been for a new season premiere for CSI. Don't get me wromg, I'm still looking forward to the show being back, but my excitement level isn't quite as high as it has been in previous years.

Another new promo! It's shorter, and doesn't have much--if anything--new. Here it is, courtesy of All About Marg.

ETA:
Thanks to All About Marg for the heads up!

From TV Guide:

Will Ray Langston change after being stabbed by Nate Haskell on CSI? — Bill
ADAM: "All of our characters will be recovering from the events of the finale," executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells us, adding cryptically that Ray "will have lost something in the attack." She also let slip that Haskell will return to Vegas to stand trial. "Our current plan is to have Nate Haskell defend himself, and anything goes — including putting Langston on the stand!"

Anybody else think Ray's going to lose a kidney?

You'd be correct! A doctor has to remove Ray's kidney during surgery.

This whole Ray/Haskell thing smacks of a poor man's Hotch/Foyet. Been there, done that, and it was original and way more interesting/scary.

Please...move ON, CSI!! This makes three seasons of one very dull serial killer.

What's bugging me about the Haskell/Langston things is Haskell has been in jail for what, ten years? Why should he even get to defend himself?

As for that small promo posted by vegaslights, did anyone else notice the quick clip of Nick and Catherine shooting at something? I wonder what that's about...

Yeah, I noticed it too... you can see it at 0:21... now that's interesting

You're right it is just like that and CM did it much better. Plus I never watch lawyer shows because I hate watching trials. I do not need to see a trial on CSI again for some guy who already is in jail. Stupid.

The other episodes sound interesting, but the season opener does not.

I agree. I'm sick of Haskell. I really am!:scream:

According to TV.com

Episode 5 Cold Blooded
The CSI team investigate the murder of a man whose daughter was killed five years ago, and the bizarre death of a young man who appears to have been killed by a T-Rex.
I love cold cases in CSI. So this must be the death by dinosaur. I'm looking forward to this episode.

Oh man! Now that sounds interesting. I'm guessing a t-rex skeleton in a museum fell on him and killed him or something. Still, it's different.

First, when they said Ray would lose something in the attack, I didn't think they meant literally :)

Second, I used to look forward to Haskall, but now I can't stand to hear his name!

I thought I'm the only one. Haskell is ('was' if overexposed next season) my favorite villain in CSI but I think his power to creep/scare me out will be lesser the more time he appears on the show.
