It means three things:

1) Everyone gets less per episode in general
2) Marg gets less for the episodes she only works on for 3 days (vs IIRC 5)
3) Marg does fewer eps

I get that, but Marg said her's was "ADJUSTED", so if I was working 40's per week making $10 bucks per hour and then cut back to 20 per week, my pay would be the same but it would be "adjusted" due to less hours~They still make a hellva of lot of money no matter what:wtf:
 
It's unfair. It took 9 seasons for Marg to earn $390k/episode while LF took only half season to earn $350k/episode. (I believe I read in some old news that in season 4/5, it was about $200k/episode so she really started receiving way down compared to LF). Yeah LF is a movie star but Marg is the TV star here and we are talking about TV here. It's so unfair, even if we consider how much pay cut each will receive. I hope Carol is sensitive enough to know that this might be the reason why Marg wants to move on after season 11.

I'm not against LF, in fact I'm liking his presence in the show.

That's all. Pretty straightforward.
 
I don't think it's got nothing to do with the Economy, I think it's got something to do with Charlie Sheen making more money. He use to made 95 thousand dollars per. episode, now he make 1.20 million dollars per. episode, Charlie want to leave the show. That is why CSI cast make pay cut and Criminal Minds let AJ Cooks go and cut down the episode for Paget. Economy seem to get a little better, not a whole lot. I think CBS use that as a excuse to use a Economy.

You have a good point. Fishburne is in a good place and is liking his work. He's a big movie star and I'm sure he's had opportunities other than CSI so that's why they're giving him fat checks so early on.
 
That's true on LF, he's done two movies and he's doing a play right now, the movies are "Armored", "Predators" and his play about the first black Supreme Court Justice, through Aug. 8, in L.A. The wanted him, and his fans, we wanted him too:bolian: and and he has stated he liked the "hours and being close to the studio" [he lives in L.A.] They paid him $14 million just for half of S/9 and all of season 10. I'm actually surprised that he consented to sign on for S/11, so the deal must be very lucrative. Lots of changes and we'll see them and what's up for S/11~
 
Are we really arguing here over semantics? :wtf: In some way, shape, or form Marg is making less money next season and it will be her last. Let's leave it at that. No one really knows the details of her contract and what does it matter?

Secondly...is CBS sexist? Not the appropriate forum for that discussion. Try General TV & Media for that.

Let's please move on to discussing spoilers (what little we have!). Thank you! :)
 
According to out own news files we may get to see Dr. Langstons wife in S/11, that'll be awesome and maybe it'll be his real life wife. She did do a CSI back in S/4, in "XX" where she was the warden. So she's been on the show and that would be a fascinating turn of events and very chummy:p
 
Personally I could careless about seeing his wife, although if she was played by anyone, I would love it to be Gina. I loved her on Firefly. :D
 
Some do want to see the personal lives of the team, and it look's like we will see his wife, who she will be is not clear as of yet. [BTW they met on the set of "THE MATRIX"] also Nick, Greg and maybe a guest spot with Grissom so we can see him and Sara together again.:p

They have a daughter, Montana, who has hit the gossip sites big time today. Try an internet search on Montana Fishburne.
