Thank gawd, she sucked, no acting skills and no personailty/boring, and talked like she was reading her lines from a cue-card. a DUD. The character Riley didn't fit the CSI guidelines, apparently. And on giving her a chance, a whole season was the chance, and she failed miserably, my opinion. That does clear up a few things about Jorja returning, and why she lasted for 9 years~
Desertwind, when someone says Sara sucks or such you are not happy with them, why? because you love the character and you want them to be respectful of that. But then you jump in with the above? That isn't anymore acceptable then people saying that about Sara. You like them could have said you "disliked" the character and your reasons why. People may respond to your reasons why, but right now they are responding to your choice of words, as I am sure you would.Thank gawd, she sucked, no acting skills and no personailty/boring, and talked like she was reading her lines from a cue-card. a DUD. And on giving her a chance, a whole season was the chance, and she failed miserably, my opinion. That does clear up a few things about Jorja returning, and why she lasted for 9 years~
Her acting card far exceeds anything Jorja Fox as ever done. She is too good for CSI, and will probably wind up doing something even better than rhyming off crime scenes in a valley girl voice such as someone we all know does or spend her time pining for some man like Jorja Fox did for several seasons!
"We're going to spotlight her for the episodes that she'll be in."<p>The original article is from <A class="link" QUOTE]
I so may have missed this in the post here, but they're going to spotlight her for the episodes she'll be in?
The characters that have been there since the beginning can barely get on episode to focus on them and some not all, but Sara will get FIVE episodes devoted to her? That is so wrong!!!!!!
Sorry Destiny, but Desertwind you were criticizing the actress not stating why you disliked her character. A character doesn't do the acting or the reading of the lines, the actress does.
In any case, as for Riley I never really took to her, but I was getting used to her and it is a shame that Lauren lost her job because she got lost in the shuffle. That's not her fault. One thing I did like was her chemistry with Greg. Since we don't have the Nick/Warrick friendship anymore they could've focused on a Greg/Riley friendship. Definitely a little sibling rivalry, arguing, you know what I mean.
But, I'm sorry, I don't buy that Sara can't do the job anymore and now she can? That is unrealistic. So she helps out and than walks out, again, with no goodbye because she couldn't handle it and who hires back someone who just walked out on the job with no notice, except a goodbye letter to Grissom?
Alright, Sara is coming back, I certainly hope they do not have everyone welcome her with open arms. She left without say goodbye to her 'friends and the people she cares about' twice and that doesn't bother any of them. Nope, don't buy that either. I could see them not saying anything in For Warrick, because they were dealing with a death, but now. There needs to be some problems.
Just like there should've been problems when Catherine try to fool the team with Keppler and Grissom having a relationship with a subordinate. Yeah, like that wouldn't piss co-workers off and cause tension afterwards. Yeah, right.
Sara fans, sorry if I'm ragging on her, but if it was Sara that was constantly pushed to the background because of a ship or an actress that leaves, comes back, leaves and then comes back again, you wouldn't be happy about either.
Sure. TPTB. Focus on the returning character all you can and give up on a wonderful new character that had potential to develop a nice storyline, plus keep shoving the other characters that are still around to the background.
If the producers aren't just trying to get people's attention and what they say is really going to happen, I hope, and I mean it, that season 10 is Marg's last season on CSI. I'd hate to see her go, but I'd hate to see her talent wasted much more.
Well, their isn't really much point to bringing a character back if you're only going to have her stand around and deliver exposition.I so may have missed this in the post here, but they're going to spotlight her for the episodes she'll be in?
