Sara And Grissom's Marital Status Confirmed

ETA: Oh, one more thing. GSR may be the only romance that went cannon, but it was NOT the original ship nor the first one they were going to do. GSR did not exist when CSI started and I wish it didn't exist now, just like I'm glad they did not go with the Nick and Catherine ship. It just doesn't fit.

Actually the writers had planned on giving GRISSOM the love interest; so yes, GSR did exist when CSI started, they just hadn't introduced Sara yet; even though the Pilot episode was build up for her appearance.

BTW: I'm not arguing, I'm just stating my opinion. :) I've spent way too many years arguing on other message boards defending my favorite couple/character. No one is going to change each other's mind, so I see no point in arguing. It's a waste of typing and a bad way of releasing frustration. ;)

Cute kitties.

By the way if those kittens all came from one litter, hats off to mamma cat..that must have hurt!!!
I was thinking the same thing!

Aww that picture back memories of my foster kitten days. I just wish I could reach through the computer screen, pick up a few of them and snuggle them to my face. That is a cute photo.

I find if I get angry about something on here, I usually just go over to You Tube, click in 'kittens' and watch till I feel much better. It's great therapy!

Actually, Sara was never part of the show or a character of the show when it was created, at least until test audiences were turned off by Holly Gribbs. So, No, GSR was not there from the beginning. They may have planned for Grissom to have a love interest from the beginning, but it wasn't Sara until the redid the Pilot and created her character.

I appreciate your opinion, however I'm basing this on fact. Sara's character was not part of CSI when it was created and cast. If audiences were not turned off by Holly Gribbs, I would suspect Sara would never had existed.

My beginning for CSI was when the Pilot episode aired on national television. Whether it was their back up episode or not, that was the Pilot I saw. As soon as Sara was brought to CSI, she and Grissom were destined for romance.

I'm not denying that, I'm just stating that it was not the first or original romance that was destined to be on the show. Nick and Catherine were and I'm glad they did not pursue it.

Oh the scene with Nick and Catherine scene was shot, just edited out. So whether the scene was in the episode or not, it was still the first and original romance on CSI.

The pilot was not a buildup to her, by the way. The second episode was reshot and she was not originally in it. It was reshot because of the test audiences. What was shown is irrelevent, GSR was not the first, nor the original ship.

It's the only one that went cannon and I still think it was mistake. Just like it would have been a mistake to pursue the Nick and Catherine one.

It's interesting to read that. I often wondered what would have happened if they had ignored the test audiences and stayed with the Holly character.

Ok. You want teh kittehs, you got teh kittes:

:devil::p;)

So in the first shooting of the second episode, Holly didn't die? I didn't know the second ep was reshot. I just figured ep one was sent to a test audience before any other episodes were even shot.

ETA: When did this become kitten central? ;)

Well, you have to admit, it's better than arguing and fighting. This coming from a dog person. :)

Here's the info:

Will it be the first five? That looks very likely right now, and there may be more rejiggering of episodes to make that work. Nothing new with that, they've been doing it since season one! "I-15 Murders" was meant to be the second CSI episode, but after they decided to kill Holly Gribbs and bring in Sara, they had to film a new ep #2 and reshoot and redub a lot of the episode (which is why that episode is so weird). I would not be surprised to see a shuffle here.
